We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Project Manager to join our growing team in Exton, PA. What You'll Do:
As an Environmental Project Manager at GES, you'll take full ownership of a dynamic portfolio of projects, with a strong focus on environmental investigation, remediation, and regulatory compliance in Pennsylvania and surrounding states. You'll lead technical teams, serve as a primary client contact, and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental investigation and remediation projects (primarily in PA, with occasional work in NJ and DE).
Supervise and mentor technical staff; assign resources and oversee the preparation of reports, proposals, and project deliverables.
Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and reliable project execution.
Lead project planning, execution, and budgeting; track performance against financial goals.
Review and author technical documents, including complex site characterizations and remedial action plans.
Evaluate subsurface data for soil, vapor, and groundwater to support remediation strategies.
Apply knowledge of remedial systems under the direction of a Professional Engineer.
Prepare and implement regulatory strategies in line with state and local environmental policies.
Collaborate with internal teams and business development staff to support consistent, high-quality service.
Conduct performance reviews, lead team meetings, and support staff development and workload management.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
5-10+ years of relevant experience, including investigation, remediation, reporting, and client/project management.
Strong working knowledge of PAenvironmental regulations, including Act 2, HSCA, and Chapter 245.
Proven experience authoring and reviewing complex technical documents and reports.
Demonstrated success in managing clients, project budgets, and personnel.
Skilled in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong attention to detail.
Professional Geologist (PG) certification is a plus.
Experience with business development and proposal writing is a strong plus.

ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN LEAD
Provide support to Environmental Manager and engineers with meeting regulatory compliance, safety, sustainability and ISO 14001 objectives. Technician Lead will provide supervision and support for the central wastewater treatment plant and sludge drying operations. Conduct wastewater and storm water sampling and compliance inspections of various pollution sources throughout the facility. Periodically offload bulk chemicals to support production operations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN LEAD:
Interact with department employees, safety coordinators, supervisors, or managers to ensure all Environmental compliance objectives are met.
Perform compliance inspections as dictated by the facility permits and regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic compliance audits and process equipment inspections as dictated by the environmental permits and regulations. Some inspections will require overtime or weekend work.

REQUIRED FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN LEAD:
High School Diploma and 8-10 years of experience or AA degree in an Environmental or Engineering discipline and 6-9 years of experience required.
Four-year college degree in related safety science field or engineering, preferred.
3-5 years of Environmental or Engineering experience in a Manufacturing setting preferred.

In this leadership role, you'll serve as principal contact to internal and external customers for all chemistry-related activities and will manage and direct all internal requests for chemistry support. You will be responsible for mentoring and oversight to our part-time data validator and to additional chemistry and data validation staff as we grow the business. You will assign work and review chemistry and data validation work products for completion and accuracy prior to client submittal. You will be responsible for managing laboratory products and determining which validation assignments may need to be subcontracted, as well as monitoring laboratory and validation subcontracts to ensure they are compliant with the project requirements.

**Typical work assignments include:**

+ Data validation: follow established DoD and USEPA guidelines to determine the analytical quality of laboratory data. Ensure data validation meets the requirements of the UFP-QAPP. Review all data validation reports prepared by junior staff.
+ Database management: Follow established procedures for management of analytical data in NIRIS, various USACE chemistry databases (including FUDSChem, ERPIMS, and EDMS), and state-specific databases.
+ Implementation and monitoring of corrective action, as needed.
**Required qualifications:**
+ Bachelor of Science degree (Master's preferred) in Chemistry or Environmental Chemistry.
+ Minimum 10 years of experience supporting federal projects.
+ Expertise in chemical data quality management of environmental analytical data, including working knowledge of industry-standard procedures for environmental data verification and data validation.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
