small groups of employees during Township road related projects. Perform heavy manual labor,

Supervision is exercised over lower level operators, Laborers, part time and seasonal
employees or others, including outside contractors, assigned to assist the Road Division. Work
is performed under the general supervision of Operator I and II, the Crew Leader and Road
Foreman as well as the Public Works Superintendent and Public Works Director.

• EquipmentOperator III may be required to operate the following tools and equipment (not an
all-inclusive list): All dump trucks, front loaders, tractors, prime trailer, chloride truck, mowers,
air compressor, hydro seeder, rollers, flatbed trailer, and all hand held power tools.
• Drive and operate the above stated equipment in a safe and professional manor.
• Perform the duties of an EquipmentOperator, Truck Driver and Laborer involved in repairs
and maintenance of Township streets and right-of-ways.

We are now accepting applications for Heavy EquipmentOperators with experience to perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. The equipmentoperator will safely and efficiently operate heavy, motorized equipment used in earth moving operations, including, but not limited to, dozers scraper, loaders, excavator, skid steer, and other equipment. Must have reliable transportation. This is a seasonal job. Pay based on experience.

Must have experience as an excavation laborer or heavy equipmentoperator.
Experience using tools such as a shovel, spade, hoe, rake, and pickaxe.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Follow directions of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or job site.
Must be available to work on Saturday and Sunday.
Willing to work overtime.
Always follow the dress code and proper use of PPE.
Strong work ethic and willingness to work as a team to efficiently complete jobs to the highest customer satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned.

NATURE OF WORK
The Vibratory Plow Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining vibratory plow equipment (specifically Vermeer 1250i or equivalent) to install underground conduit, fiber optic cable, and utilities in accordance with project plans and safety standards. The operator works collaboratively with the construction crew and performs support tasks related to underground utility installation
REQUISITE SKILLS
Experience:
* 1-year working with Vermeer or Ditch Witch DDD, or equivalent a plus.
* Vermeer 1250i or equivalent.
* Multiple conduit placement experience Is a plus.
Technical Skills:
* Knowledge of utility depths and placements; general knowledge of construction practices.
* Able to read blueprints/underground utility plans and interpret work assignments.
Education / Certification:
* Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Company will provide industry training and certifications if not already secured.
* CDL is a plus.
Physical Requirements / Aptitude:
* Able to work in trenches, manholes, tunnels and confined spaces and in work settings with moderate to loud noise levels.
* Able to move in different positions - crouching, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting 75 lbs., unassisted.
Other:
* Willing to work overtime when required; willing to travel and to work in all-weather conditions.
* Self-motivated and able to work well in groups.
