Processing payments and regular communication with the Central billing Office to resolve errors.
Perform patient status changes as clinical staff directs.
Maintaining patient charts, including creating files, scanning documents into the EMR, auditing charts for completeness, filing, shifting, and occasional shredding.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
Facilitate deposits and cash reconciliations during shift change.
Maintain with accuracy all spreadsheets, and patient logs.
Perform clerical duties, including mail delivery, faxing, copying, and scanning
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Med-Surg Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients' condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with other specialists as required, and adjust nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care

Maintain accurate and continued nursing documentation, including patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses, and assessment of changes
Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors
Interact professionally with patient and family and involve patient and family in the formation of the plan of care
Formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate the effectiveness of learning, including family in teaching as appropriate
Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families in accordance with hospital standards
Demonstrate the values of the team concept on a consistent basis
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, LPN, ADN, BSN
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a hospital setting.
Telemetry experience welcomed
Current OK or Compact Nursing License.
Current CPR and ACLS required.
