Essential Responsibilities Read and understand blueprints, drawings Ensure correct material/products are used in the project Evaluate the quality of materials, parts, and equipment before the fabrication process is started. Report any concerns to management before continuing with project. Adhere to and implement proper fabrication and assembly techniques efficiently and effectively Utilize general fabrication tools safely, efficiently, and effectively. Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances and product specifications. Conduct quality check at assignment completion. Report any concerns to management. Maintain traceability requirements by reporting as-built modifications to management redline documentation. Safely handle materials manually and/or with lifting equipment. Monitor tools for breakage and tool wear symptoms and report equipment issues. Knowledge of required maintenance and upkeep on specified equipment. Understanding of fabrication processed and the materials produced in department to support projects. Assist with other tasks, within or outside the department, based on operational needs (i.e. finish work, paint prep, etc.).
