Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add a **Principal or Senior Principal Network and Communications Field Service Engineer** to our team at **RAAF Base Edinburgh** near **Adelaide, Australia** . This position will receive daily tasking and prioritization from their site lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for operations and maintenance support of the MQ-4C Triton network and communications systems at a Forward Operating Base (FOB). **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Provide real time support for flight operations and maintenance, addressing any issues related to communications and networking to include fault isolation, remediation, and resolution. + Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of communications and data link systems in military flight test environment, including operations on a flightline, in a hangar, and in command-and-control centers. + Adherence to checklists and procedures to ensure repeated success and providing redlines to procedures when necessary. + Communicate complex technical issues to local support, the Degrader Action Cell (DAC), Main Operation Bases (MOBs), and Responsible Engineers (REs). + Support and lead air crew engagement for proper techniques in solving complex analysis of technical problems that arise during operations. + Assist with trend analysis as needed for Responsible Engineers (REs). + Perform/support review and analysis of supplier design data and definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration. + Take responsibility for the testing, maintenance, and integration of Comms and Networks equipment to include radio terminals, software loads, switches, routers, and firewalls required to support ground and flight test operations. + Work with system admins, maintainers, and onsite personnel to troubleshoot and repair any internal operational issues. ** The selected candidate will be put on a temporary Domestic Assignment and will report to our San Diego, CA site daily prior to international deployment while clearance(s), Visa(s), and other documents are processing. EPI Power is hiring a Project Engineer to be responsible for several functions throughout the duration of assigned projects including planning, buyout, management and closeout. This role actively assists the project team in monitoring project status and identifying issues that may impact the project schedule and/or budget. The ideal candidate is open to travel and/or relocation based on upcoming project needs. EPI is hiring both entry-level and experienced Project Engineer candidates. This role requires the ability to work 6 days per week, Monday - Saturday. What You'll Do: Review Project Data (Specifications, BOQ, Q&A,… & Drawings) and issue the relevant RFI's in case of contradiction / missing data using BIM model if applicable Submit, review, and follow up on the electrical shop drawing and as-built drawings to determine conformance with contract documents Collaborate with project team to complete requests for information (RFI) Research and analyze customer design proposals specification, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications Study and verify Engineering Site Instructions through the BIM models Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks Attend regular project meetings Identify and resolve issues, conflicts, and technical issues as they arise Review submittals and other project documents for accuracy against plans and specifications Monitor material and equipment delivery status Understand and assist with project schedule management What We're Looking For: Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role, industry related degree/coursework, or related internship experience Engineering degree is a plus LEAN principles experience is desirable Knowledge of NEC code is a plus Skills: Displays a high level of initiative and is comfortable making independent judgement Analytical thinker who enjoys solving problems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desire to work in a collaborative, supportive, team environment Organized and a high attention to detail Flexibility Technology: Proficient in basic computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Autodesk software programs (Revit AutoCAD and Navisworks) Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, etc.) What We Offer: Competitive Pay Rewarding Bonus Program Comprehensive Benefits Package with Tax-Advantaged HSA and FSA offerings Employer-Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability Programs Employer-Paid Life Insurance Generous Paid Time Off Provisions 401K Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match Tuition Reimbursement Fully Paid Parental Leave Voluntary Products Including: Critical Illness Insurance and Accident Insurance Corporate Wellness Program with Wellness Time Off and Rewards Visa sponsorship is not available for this position at this time.
