This role provides second-level technical support, troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues, and escalating problems as needed to minimize disruptions for end-users. Working under general supervision, the Desktop Engineer II installs and upgrades operating systems, resolves network connectivity issues, and serves as the main contact for client support requests. This position assists in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of desktop hardware and software to ensure compatibility, reliability, and optimal performance. The role also includes developing and implementing desktop deployment strategies, such as system imaging and software packaging, to streamline deployments and standardize configurations. EDUCATION: Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Reliable high-speed internet connection is required for all remote/hybrid positions.
