This is a Computer Field Technician Position doing hardware repairs and installations on laptop and desktop units. You must have prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware. As part of your onboarding, you will be certified in Dell and Lenovo. All certifications are free to you. Job Details This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket. You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets. You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls. You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal. Tickets are run Monday through Friday. This role ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with heavy equipment, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems in an industrial or mining environment. Key Roles / Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mining and processing equipment including conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps, and heavy machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify and resolve malfunctions quickly. Maintain accurate service logs, repair records, and parts inventories. Assist with equipment installation, modification, and commissioning of new machinery. Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly, minimizing operational downtime. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
