We are seeking a Materials Handler for our automated precision products. We are an international company with our primary development facility in Fort Washington, PA. It is a fast paced position with a variety of duties and a supportive staff to work with.
This position performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders and invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Prepared and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and manufacturing lines.
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
Compensation:
$20/hr to $23/hr.

Follow all safety requirements, including housekeeping, LO/TO, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and engage in facility safety efforts. Participate in the improvement of product, services, and processes. Perform visual inspections in regard to safety and quality.
Warehouse Associate - Shipping (Forklift Operator)
Major Responsibilities:
Ensuring Pallets are organized and separated.
Maintain accurate put-away locations
Pallet flow - Monitor staging area is clean and free of debris.
Picking orders - pulling / preparing items for the customer with efficiency and accuracy.
Checking orders - verifying pick product accuracy, data accuracy and resolving any errors or issues.
Retrieving materials and supplies
Loading / Unloading Trucks (with a strong focus on safety and precision to avoid injuries and property/product damage)
Lifting - lowering boxes and products
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
Other Responsibilities:
Sorting inbound and outbound pallets
Loading & Unloading pallets as directed
Physical inventory related Preparation / Duties
Assist in loading/counting/picking orders
Repair pallets, organize/remove scrap pallets
Assist in the identification of “bad” or unacceptable pallets
Ensure Product is properly stored on pallets/racking in organized manner.
Assist with daily walk through and reporting on product damage, sanitation, and safety related issues
Sample area is organized and clean
Assist Shipping and Receiving departments as directed
Receiving inbound product, verifying, data capture, restacking and labeling (as needed)
Assist labeling crew as directed
Requirements:
- 4+Years of experience working in Production
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Bilingual (Preferred not required)
