Key Responsibilities
Drive a box truck and transit van for local deliveries.
Will load and unload product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
Will use a forklift and liftgate to load and unload from truck at locations without a loading dock.
Will also perform material handler duties including:
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code.
May operate a Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks or gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc.
Uses electronic application on mobile device and scanner to process orders and prepare inventory for delivery to customer site.
Applies RFID and barcode labels to incoming inventory, paying attention to detail for accuracy of part number and lot number.
Read production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Conducts cycle count for inventory accuracy, and ensures first-in-first-out of shelf-life sensitive chemical products.
Qualifications
CDL with Hazmat endorsement preferred.
Previous driving experience in box truck or larger highly preferred.
Previous Warehouse experience highly preferred.
Previous forklift experience/certification preferred.
Required to lift up to 50lbs as needed.
Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

POSITION SUMMARY
Reach & Forklift Operator is responsible for operating power industrial trucks for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties in addition to his or her own. They are responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies and may be required to perform any combination of the following.
Hours: Monday through Saturday 4:30pm till complition, minimun of 12 hours daily.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving/Put-Away:
· Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Input data accurately into WMS.
· Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate area.
· Maintain an organized work area.
Order Picking:
· Pull and prepare for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
· Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
· Prepare freight for operations accurately and in a timely manner as required.
Quality:
· Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
· Report quality variances
Delivery:
· Efficiently moves product form staging and/or storage to production lines and/or staging docks.
· Proper documentation must accompany freight.
Inventory:
· Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
· Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
· Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area, and assist in security of the warehouse
Will comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies

Job Title: Warehouse Forklift Operator/ Order Picker (Cherry Picker)
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Monday through Thursday, 2:00pm - 1:00am; plus overtime
Reports To: Loading Manager
Job Summary:
Savannah Distributing, a family owned business since 1938 and a leader in the beverage distribution industry, is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator/ Order Picker to join our Savannah Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and order pickers to move, locate, pick and store products in our warehouse. You will also ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment while adhering to company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance of forklifts.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous forklift operator certification (OSHA or equivalent) preferred.
Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is required.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management.
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening.
Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 10 to 50 pounds regularly.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
