The Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (RWRD) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of heavy Equipment Operator III. Essential Functions:

Operates a variety of equipment such as graders, water trucks, backhoes, boom trucks, trenchers, dump trucks, and front-end loaders, in a wastewater treatment facility, to maintain, transfer, and transport waste products;
Operates compactors and conveyors to move waste material and load dump trucks for transport to drying beds or landfill;
Moves waste materials and loads dump trucks for transport to drying beds or designated landfill sites using appropriate equipment;
Watches for and removes materials or items that may clog conveyor system;
Removes debris or blockages to maintain safe and efficient equipment operation;
Assists in cleaning sludge from aerators, tanks, and ponds using a skid steer, crane, or dump truck and appropriate personal safety equipment or clothing, and must be confined-space certified;
Performs sludge removal from aerators, tanks, and ponds using heavy equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE);
Uses hand tools or equipment to load sludge from bottom of aerators into bucket for leading into dump truck; uses hand tools or equipment to clean and perform minor repairs on machinery, remove fallen debris, and clear areas that are too delicate for heavy equipment;
Hauls waste material to landfill, ensuring compliance with environmental and dumping regulations as needed;
Maintains drying beds clean and uses appropriate equipment to move waste material to assure even drying;
Uses a front-end loader, grader, and/or dump truck to maintain drying beds, ponds, and nearby areas free of weeds and trimming trees;
Uses a backhoe to excavate around high-volume lines and valves or repair sinkholes;
Operates vacuum trucks to clean out sumps;
Performs minor equipment repairs and servicing;
Participates in a variety of manual labor tasks when assisting mechanics and technicians;
Operate and maintain a 3:1 slope ratio on embankments;
Hauls liquid waste from outlying plants to designated disposal facilities using a semi-truck with a smoothbore trailer.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five years of total experience in the combination of heavy equipment and experience driving CDL Class A vehicles. (Completion of a vocational/technical program from an accredited college or technical school in heavy equipment operations may be substituted for six months of the required experience.) Heavy equipment may include street sweepers, water trucks, asphaltic materials distributors, front-end loaders, grader/scrapers, back hoes, bulldozers, trenchers, tractors, tractor/semi-trailer combinations, and like equipment.
(Relevant experience and/or education from an accredited college or university may be substituted.)
OR:
Three years of experience with Pima County as an Equipment Operator II.

Preferred Qualifications: (Be specific in describing your experience in your application. Ensure the descriptions provided illustrate your competencies, specifically addressing the required and preferred qualifications.):
Minimum three (3) years experience operating a variety of equipment such as graders, water trucks, backhoes, boom trucks, trenchers, dump trucks, tankers, and front-end loaders.
Minimum one (1) year experience in transporting over-the-road wet and dry material and trailering equipment.
Knowledge of traffic laws, local, state, and federal rules and regulations as applied to vehicle and heavy equipment operation procedures.
Selection Procedure:
Pima County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates that meet the minimum qualifications. All applications will be assessed based on an evaluation of the listed education and experience. Candidates meeting the minimum qualifications may be further evaluated/scored against any advertised Preferred Qualifications. The hiring authority will interview and select the successful candidate from a referral list provided by Human Resources. Additional assessments/testing may be required as part of the selection process.

Licenses and Certificates: Valid driver's license is required at the time of application. Valid AZ driver's license is required at time of appointment. The successful applicant will be subject to a 39-month DOT Motor Vehicle Record review to determine the applicant's suitability to operate county vehicles in accordance with Pima County administrative procedures. This position requires a valid Arizona Class D driver's license at the time of application or prior to completion of initial/promotional probation. This position requires a valid Arizona Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) at the time of application. Additionally, a Tanker Endorsement must be obtained prior to completion of the first six months in the position. Failure to obtain/maintain the required licensure and endorsement shall be grounds for termination. For these positions, failure to maintain the required CDL may be grounds for termination. Positions requiring a CDL are also subject to applicable State of Arizona and federal standards, rules, and regulations on physical requirements including drug and alcohol testing. Failure to obtain/maintain the required licensure shall be grounds for termination.

Forklift Operators perform a combination of product handling and lift truck operating duties to stack, transport, and store work-in-process and finished goods. Supplies production lines with efficient flow of materials - knockdowns and dividers - and moves finished goods to warehouse. Complete line driver reports accurately and legible showing locations and quantities of raw materials used as well as quantities and locations where finished goods were stored. Assist production line employees by relieving them in breaks and lunchtime periods. The primary duties of a Forklift Operator include:
Follow all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.
Perform a safety lift truck inspection and battery check and report any equipment malfunctioning or damage to the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor. Change lift truck batteries and add water when necessary; keep record of time batteries are changed. Fill out lift truck status report.
Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
Review daily production schedule with Shift Supervisor, brings materials to the production lines when needed to execute schedule and notify supervisor of any materials running low. Removes finished goods from production lines, back to assigned warehouse locations.
Provide accurate information of unloaded materials as well as materials used or produced to warehouse personnel.
Remove, store, and unitize production scrap bales and informs warehouse personnel when there is enough for a full load. Removes excess corrugated from mezzanine and empties baler as required. Takes full bales of cardboard scrap from baler to assigned location in the warehouse.
Maintain accurate records of materials being used and produced, and reports them in appropriate paperwork, back to warehouse personnel.
Remove finished goods and other materials in hold to assigned location. Stores finished goods stacked neatly and in proper height. Verifies that all finished goods removed from the production area must have a product code tag.
Participate in physical inventory taking.
Keep each production line supplied with the proper knock down cases, dividers, pallets and when each pallet is full take that pallet to the warehouse for loading on the trailer; and takes unused cases and dividers back to the warehouse to the proper location.
On limited production, may assist in stock-handler duties or load trailers as needed.
Bring up hot glue cases to the mezzanine, brings color concentrate to the lines, replaces cold glue tote, removes excess cases from production floor, brings slip sheets to production floor, loads storage racks with gaylords, set up rework, set up units of product on hold for Q.C., relieves stock handlers, loads and unloads corrugated trailers, identifies good corrugated from the bad and isolates it.
Follow established forklift procedures and complete required safety and maintenance checklists
Follow established procedures for damaged finished goods and raw materials and report them on line driver report.
Communicate with supervisor regarding shift totals and machine totals reports and with other lift truck operators regarding any changes or problems that arise, including damaged materials, damaged skids, or low inventories.
Complete written documentation as required.
Assist in relieving downstream teammates for breaks and lunches.
Use forklift to move pallets of finished product to stretch wrap machines to stretch wrap them and to staging area after wrapping, or to specify warehouse location. Completes finished goods report or worksheet.
Maintain supplies of corrugated and other packaging supplies at each machine.
Visually inspect all completed pallets of product for quality and conformity to the packaging instructions to ensure quality at the source.
Limited travel may be required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.

Forklift Operators perform a combination of product handling and lift truck operating duties to stack, transport, and store work-in-process and finished goods. Supplies production lines with efficient flow of materials - knockdowns and dividers - and moves finished goods to warehouse. Complete line driver reports accurately and legible showing locations and quantities of raw materials used as well as quantities and locations where finished goods were stored. Assist production line employees by relieving them in breaks and lunchtime periods. The primary duties of a Forklift Operator include:
+ Follow all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices.
+ Perform a safety lift truck inspection and battery check and report any equipment malfunctioning or damage to the Warehouse Manager or Shift Supervisor. Change lift truck batteries and add water when necessary; keep record of time batteries are changed. Fill out lift truck status report.
+ Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
+ Review daily production schedule with Shift Supervisor, brings materials to the production lines when needed to execute schedule and notify supervisor of any materials running low. Removes finished goods from production lines, back to assigned warehouse locations.
+ Provide accurate information of unloaded materials as well as materials used or produced to warehouse personnel.
+ Remove, store, and unitize production scrap bales and informs warehouse personnel when there is enough for a full load. Removes excess corrugated from mezzanine and empties baler as required. Takes full bales of cardboard scrap from baler to assigned location in the warehouse.
+ Maintain accurate records of materials being used and produced, and reports them in appropriate paperwork, back to warehouse personnel.
+ Remove finished goods and other materials in hold to assigned location. Stores finished goods stacked neatly and in proper height. Verifies that all finished goods removed from the production area must have a product code tag.
+ Participate in physical inventory taking.
+ Keep each production line supplied with the proper knock down cases, dividers, pallets and when each pallet is full take that pallet to the warehouse for loading on the trailer; and takes unused cases and dividers back to the warehouse to the proper location.
+ On limited production, may assist in stock-handler duties or load trailers as needed.
+ Bring up hot glue cases to the mezzanine, brings color concentrate to the lines, replaces cold glue tote, removes excess cases from production floor, brings slip sheets to production floor, loads storage racks with gaylords, set up rework, set up units of product on hold for Q.C., relieves stock handlers, loads and unloads corrugated trailers, identifies good corrugated from the bad and isolates it.
+ Follow established forklift procedures and complete required safety and maintenance checklists
+ Follow established procedures for damaged finished goods and raw materials and report them on line driver report.
+ Communicate with supervisor regarding shift totals and machine totals reports and with other lift truck operators regarding any changes or problems that arise, including damaged materials, damaged skids, or low inventories.
+ Complete written documentation as required.
+ Assist in relieving downstream teammates for breaks and lunches.
+ Use forklift to move pallets of finished product to stretch wrap machines to stretch wrap them and to staging area after wrapping, or to specify warehouse location. Completes finished goods report or worksheet.
+ Maintain supplies of corrugated and other packaging supplies at each machine.
+ Visually inspect all completed pallets of product for quality and conformity to the packaging instructions to ensure quality at the source.
+ Limited travel may be required.
**Qualifications**
Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.

The Production Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining yogurt packaging equipment to ensure the efficient and accurate manufacturing of yogurt products. This role involves overseeing the production line process, monitoring equipment performance, and adhering to quality and safety standards.
The Production Operator hourly rate starts at $20.90 plus shift differentials. Shift differentials for 2nd shift (10%) and 3rd shift (15%.)

Key responsibilities for this position include:
Operate yogurt production machines (filling or packaging) according to standard operating procedures, including set up and adjustment of machine settings before production runs.
Monitor and control all filling weight, codes, seals, and lids/cups throughout the packaging cycle including the palletizer and case pushers.
Perform code and weight checks at specified intervals during the packaging run.
Perform routine maintenance tasks on yogurt production equipment, such as cleaning, sanitizing, and replacing parts, to ensure optimal performance and food safety compliance.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or process deviations, adjusting as needed to maintain production efficiency and product integrity.
Conduct quality checks on batches at regular intervals to verify taste, texture, and adherence to specifications.
Adhere to all testing procedures and provide required samples to quality assurance for appraisal prior to all finished product being packaged.
Monitor and control all cups needed for production run, and resupply when needed
Maintain accurate production records, including batch records, equipment logs, and quality control documentation.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
Collaborate with other team members, including production supervisors, quality assurance technicians, and maintenance staff, to optimize production processes and resolve issues.

Previous experience in a dairy processing or food manufacturing environment preferred.

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percentage.

Position Summary
A leading global supply chain management company of agriculture commodities for feed and fiber is seeking a self-motivated individual for our Eloy Warehouse team located in Eloy, AZ. This role will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities
Unload receivables from open and enclosed freight trucks with forklift.
Inspect and verify receivables at delivery against packing list for damages and discrepancies and document all findings on master packing lists.
Perform daily inspections of machinery and document findings.
Participate in regular safety meetings.
