The Machine Learning Engineer II will be a member of the Learning and Active Perception (LEAP) group in AV's MacCready Works division and support the development of a variety of innovative computer vision capabilities (object detection, classification, localization, and tracking) and other image/video analytics for defense and commercial applications. These development efforts require a range of skills and tools across traditional engineering, computer science, and mathematical disciplines including but not limited to data management, computer vision, machine learning, optimization, and deep convolutional neural networks. This position will span multiple stages of the development process including requirements gathering, algorithm design, prototyping, test and evaluation, and validation and verification testing. This specific role also involves on-site support for experimentation and fielded systems requiring a significant amount of extended travel, both domestic and international.
Duties
* Support development of computer vision and machine learning (ML) algorithms capable of object detection, classifying, localizing, and tracking objects of interest from a variety of stationary and mobile sensor platforms with the primary purpose of real-time automated target recognition (ATR)
* Perform visual imagery data science to inform data collection, data labeling, and data selection for training deep computer vision ML algorithms, train the algorithms using the data, and validate data selection and algorithm design through a series of purpose-designed experiments. This includes:
o Analyze ML algorithms to solve a given problem and rank them by their success probability on new data
o Set objectives and develop models that help achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
o Select appropriate datasets and data representations
o Analyze errors of the data, model, and design strategies to overcome them
* Write and test software to support the integration of machine learning algorithms into aircraft (such as autopilots, payloads, or other functional components) or other systems
* Other duties as assigned
Experience
* 2 - 5 years of relevant computer vision experience
* Familiarity with Python and C/C++ required
* Proficiency with a deep learning framework, preferably PyTorch
* Proficiency with basic libraries for machine learning such as, Open-CV, scikit-learn, and pandas
* Familiarity with Linux
* Familiarity with Nvidia Tools (CUDA, JetPack, TensorRT) and deployment process to Nvidia GPUs
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems and perform algorithmic optimization
* Ability to perform exploratory data analysis, including visualizing and manipulating large datasets
Education
BS in any of the following fields: Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related Science or Engineering discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience in machine learning and/or computer vision.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of shipping, receiving, and picking. Activities may include but are not limited to loading or unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Shipping Responsibilities:
* The shipping functions include but are not limited to using a gas or electric powered forklift to load outbound shipments, move product, and stack products or materials.
* Associates must efficiently and accurately load orders according to the appropriate doors and trailers.
* All shipping functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Receiving Responsibilities:
* The receiving functions include but are not limited to using a gas or electric powered forklift to unload inbound shipments, move product, replenish, stack and store products or materials.
* Associates must efficiently and accurately locate and place products in the appropriate storage areas.
* All receiving functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Picking Responsibilities:
* The picking functions include but are not limited to using a gas or electric powered forklift to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
* Associates must efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas.
* Associates will stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label product(s) as determined by client requirements.
* All picking functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Quality Control Responsibilities:
* The quality control functions include but are not limited to using the appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly.
* Associates will verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.
* Associates will stack, package, shrink wrap, and label product(s). All quality control functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
* All associates are responsible for executing all safety protocols and will accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
* Associates are responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility. Associates must also maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area, and assist in security of the warehouse.
* Associates will comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site-specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards.
Equipment Operation:
* In performing assigned duties, the equipment used can include but is not limited to: sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master or pallet jack.
* Associates are responsible for the upkeep of equipment and reporting of equipment problems.
* On a daily basis, associates will inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
* Associates will operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
* Associates must maintain an active forklift certification.
Maintenance:
* Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES
* Performs other duties as assigned.
* Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.

The Personalization Machine Operator IV sets up and operates Datacard, Zebra, and other personalization equipment to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role ensures all identification cards meet quality standards, with any defective cards identified, documented, and remade. The successful candidates will be required to attend company paid travel and training in Bolingbrook, IL prior to starting at our new, soon to open, Dulles, VA production facility.
Job Responsibilities:
* Operate personalization and fulfillment equipment efficiently and safely.
* Select and prepare production data according to the daily schedule
* Process production jobs with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
* Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet company and customer standards.
* Verify counts of finished products to confirm order completion.
* Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and well maintained.
* Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Produce high-quality products within established timeframes while minimizing waste.
* Record and route defective or remake materials for reprocessing.
* Maintain accountability for all materials released and returned to secure storage.
* Accurately document and prepare completed orders for shipment each day.
* Track job progress and update production data through the ERP system.
* Follow ISO work instructions and company quality procedures.
* Review and sign off on completed card production.
* Print, fold, and insert mail pieces according to job specifications and documentation.
* Meter, seal, and prepare envelopes for mailing as instructed.

UOVO, the nation's leading storage and services provider for art, archives, and collectibles seeks an Art Handler/Driver to join its dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the art world, storage/collection management knowledge, and will be comfortable moving a wide range of art objects. The Art Handler/Driver will report to the Operations Supervisor.
Core Responsibilities
Proper handling of art objects, using the appropriate methods and materials for packaging, loading & securing for safe transport
Install/de-install artworks in-house or at offsite locations, often troubleshooting and utilizing critical thinking to solution scope changes
Preparation and careful execution of paperwork, including bills of lading, labels, driver logs, and detailed condition reports with accompanying photos if necessary
Receive and release shipments into warehouse facilities
Pack artworks for local, national and international transportation and storage
Maintain compliance with all local, state, DOT regulations
Support to internal teams, as needed
Weekend, overtime, and holiday work may be necessary; therefore, schedule flexibility is required

Qualifications & Skills
Team Player, able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented and dynamic environment
Demonstrated knowledge of installation, packing and art handling
Excellent communication and attention to detail to both clients and coworkers
Ability to problem solve and solution onsite issues with the experience to know when to escalate problems to supervisor
Valid driver's license; CDL license a bonus
Ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart, as well as 50 pounds without mechanical aid
Ability to carry 40 pounds of varying size and shape up to a distance of 90 feet
Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead
Ability to be exposed to outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and snow
Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies and other necessary warehouse equipment
This in-person position requires on-site presence at UOVO's DC facility five days a week with occasional requests to work nights and on weekends.
