RMLS provides a rich database of unstructured text; reading every log file. The FAA recently deployed Apple iPhones to 1000s of Airway Transportation System Specialist (ATSS) who maintain and perform corrective maintenance on NAS facilities. ATSS personnel are required by policy to record their maintenance activities in the form of log records using legacy client-based applications.
