The Outpatient Clinician for Gilead's Middletown area psychiatric outpatient clinic works Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM with some flexibility to work evening hours providing individual, marital, family and group therapy using a bio-psychosocial model of care. Responsibilities:
Understanding needs of clients experiencing severe and prolonged mental health and substance abuse disorders through Gilead's training and education
Assisting with meal preparation, household chores, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and money management, in the teaching of daily living skills
Providing recovery-oriented services with an emphasis on dignity, respect, and inclusion of family and other natural supports
Exchanging information from one shift to another, through required reporting documentation and communication, both electronic and paper documentation, as needed
Assisting with coordination and provision of transportation to treatment, community and social outings, and other essential appointments
Working with the treatment team to support clients' mental health, providing education and training regarding symptom management, and assessing for risks as necessary
Acting with compassion, integrity, and ethics.

Gilead Community Services is seeking a skilled and recovery-oriented outpatient clinician to join our multi-disciplinary program staff. The Outpatient Clinician for Gilead's Middletown area psychiatric outpatient clinic works Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM with some flexibility to work evening hours providing individual, marital, family and group therapy using a bio-psychosocial model of care. The clinician is responsible for the formulation and completion of detailed intake assessments, including diagnosis, mental status exams and treatment planning.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's Degree in a clinical field; License required within 18 months of hire
Experience working with individuals with psychiatric issues and co-occurring substance use disorders
Five years of clinical experience
Must maintain and provide proof of valid driver's license and automobile insurance in good standing
Reliable use of personal vehicle as needed

This is a non-union position and pays $63,000-$88,628.71 per year dependent on level of experience, with potential to earn $5,000 additional incentive pay.
