**JOB SUMMARY:**

**WORK DEVICES/TOOLS** consist of the following: Bristol brush, latex gloves, paper, pen, grease pen, grease gun, Oil machines, standard tools (utility knife, wrenches, plyers, etc...)
**EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED** :
+ 1-2+ years recent experience manufacturing/industrial machine operator experience required.
+ Must be able to stand for long periods of time with scheduled breaks
+ Prior experience utilizing pallet jack - highly preferred
+ Must be able to walk around machine/equipment frequently; surfaces are mostly concrete
+ Must be able lift/carry weight approximately 35 lbs; the average distance carried is approximately 5 feet- 10 feet
+ Must be able to use a two-step stepstool, and 6 feet - 10 feet ladders with rails and a platform at the top for standing in order to access the equipment for inspection/maintenance/repair
+ Must be able to bend forward momentarily up to 90 degrees when repairing or maintaining machines.
+ Must be able to reach between waist and shoulder height which occurs on a frequent basis.
+ Must have the ability to work in a high paced and multi-task environment
+ Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
+ Overtime will be required as necessary including weekends. Graphic Packaging International operates on a 24 hour, 7 day/week basis.

Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications.

What You Will Do:

The Warehouse & Distribution Manager Associate plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the full spectrum of warehouse and distribution operations. This includes assisting Warehouse Management with daily business activities and planning, such as optimizing the storage of purchased materials, ensuring efficient transportation and supply of components to production lines, and guaranteeing the accurate and timely shipment of finished goods to customers. The role also encompasses efficient storage of stock, future warehouse capacity planning, and tracking and improving overall delivery performance, with a strong focus on On Time, In Full (OTIF) metrics. This position is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and implementing damage controls to safeguard product integrity. Additionally, this role manages or performs work associated with Logistics Planning & Optimization, Warehouse & Distribution Center Operations (including Shipping & Receiving, Inbound/Outbound, Materials Handling), Transportation Management, and related supply chain elements to ensure a seamless flow of materials and products, driven by continuous improvement initiatives and effective staff management.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Individual in this role is primarily focus on directing, leveraging, and guiding the work of others, and mobilizing resources.
+ Leaders typically manage two or more direct reports.
+ Responsible for the monitoring and achievement of operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility.
+ Responsible for people management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
+ Lead, train, and evaluate the team (Staff Management), ensuring all members are aligned with best practices in inventory management, adhere to company policies, and are equipped to meet operational goals.
+ Progression within the levels reflects increase in scope and responsibilities as well as growth in business and industry experience, process and people leadership capabilities, and broad technical expertise.
+ Supervises entry level and experienced professionals and potentially para-professional employees.
+ Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
+ Monitor and improve the On Time, In Full (OTIF) delivery rate, driving strategies to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
+ Ensure high levels of Inventory Accuracy, minimizing discrepancies between recorded and physical stock to support efficient operations and financial reporting. This includes overseeing regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes.
+ Implement and supervise robust Damage Controls over Inventory, protecting product integrity and minimizing losses due to damage during storage, handling, and transportation.
+ Works on issues of general scope.
+ Problems faced may be difficult but typically not overly complex.
+ Analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of various factors and a general understanding of principles in own discipline and potentially a basic knowledge of other disciplines.
+ Supports team with day-to-day activities.
+ Applies general understanding of the business and coordinates with other areas to achieve department objectives.
+ Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.
+ Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements.

+ Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules and potentially expenditure of resources.

+ Interaction typically concerns exchanging information and/or scheduling issues.
+ Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement in inventory management and distribution processes, implementing changes to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve service quality. This includes leveraging technology and lean principles.
**Safe Quality Food Responsibilities for all employees:**
+ Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
+ Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
+ Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.
+ Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
+ Lead Mock Recalls
**POSITION REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Bachelor's degree or related work experience required in lieu of degree.
