We are the Live Video Streaming Operations team responsible for supporting sports content ranging from college sports all the way to the sports leagues. On a daily basis, you will be interacting with live sports content supporting over 15 different platforms, apps, and sites, and more. We are also responsible for the encoding and delivery of premium content to millions of users every day. You will play a key role in delivering sports content to potentially millions of people around the world.
Role Details:
This person will supervise a small team of Tier 1 Live Operators tasked with ensuring live content streams flawlessly. This includes monitoring and testing signal acquisition, triggering markers for DAI ads, clipping post-event highlights and additional monitoring. During live sports events, team members will listen to bridge lines for cues to trigger digital ads during breaks. The manager will monitor each operator and ensure ads are running correctly for each game and solve any problems the operators may experience.
You must be comfortable managing people, including team members who work remotely. It's critical that you can set up and establish communication links with your operators so that you can answer questions and solve problems in real time.
This is a revenue impacting position in which attention to detail and timing is critical. It also requires a commitment to working weekends, which are busy days for our live sports portfolio.
When not working on the assigned content, you will be expected to help other Live Operations teams as they stream additional events - everything from world rugby and soccer to college athletics.
Your Day-to-Day:
Work with a range of live sports content.
Create staff schedules to ensure all live events that require operators are staffed.
Set up communication systems for the operators. Be the owner of our Live Ops bridges for all the matches.
Provide operators with game formats and rundowns for the commercial ad loads.
Become an expert using our in-house tools to trigger SCTE markers during the broadcast. Teach and train the operators. Become their go-to person when they have questions or experience problems with the tools during live events.
Interact with our operations team as well as support teams for both internal and external partners.
Assist in checking, testing, and troubleshooting live events on a range of platforms and devices.
Use a series of vendor and in-house tools to monitor the overall health of the streams, and be constantly on the lookout for indications of technical issues.
Interact with key partners, including but not limited to Sports production. Work with each to set up test events and to ensure live events are successful.
Work closely with system Developers to report and escalate issues.
Support and assist with live events as assigned/needed.
Qualifications:

A commitment and willingness to work weekends.
At least three years of experience in live television, master control, or sports media.
A basic understanding of broadcast standards and operations, as well as best practices
An eye for detail.
Ability to work under pressure and, at times, unsupervised, as well as effectively communicate and document processes.

The operation of a Flexographic printing press. The operator will possess a combination of knowledge, skill, and abilities to carry out work activities related to the operation of the flexographic printing press.
Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a Mark Andy 16" - 20" flexographic press
Installs Anilox rollers, plates. inks and dies into proper stations, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality of production.
Notifies Supervision of needed repairs and replacement parts.
Ensures that assigned equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition.
Understands all the documents related to the printing process and adheres to specification requirements.
Qualifications: Experienced Flexographic Operator
Minimum - High School Diploma or GED & gave basic computer skills.
Best candidates would have AT LEAST 1-3 years *FLEXO PRINTING* related experience with ability to write and read simple instructions.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions & procedure manuals.
Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
Should be able to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Must be able to maintain good attendance and flexible and willing to work overtime, as needed.
Must be flexible in working any shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs typical press operations to support production department.
Review job ticket and work with Press Helper to ensure job is set up properly on the press per required specifications and job notes (ink, dies, stock, plates).
Run the job setup on the press and log data related to the job setup in the system.
Run the job per specifications and log when completed, noting material used, etc.
While running the press, review printed rolls for quality and consistency related to all aspects of the labels including color registration and die cut.
Following completion of the job, move finished roll to finishing department and breakdown and clean machine in preparation for the next job.
Communicate with Shift Supervisor and/or Production Manager regarding any issues with the labels and dies.
Ensure proper data collection for each job, including job notes on material and time variance.
Perform basic troubleshooting of the press
Maintain the work area and machines in a clean and orderly condition

Supervision of the press helper to assign duties such as: cleaning, paper levels, ink levels and additional duties.
Makes ready and operates sheet-fed offset printing press to print single and multicolor copy from lithographic plates.
Measures the plate thickness and inserts packing sheets on plate cylinder to build up plate to printing height and installs and locks plate into position, using handtools, to achieve pressure required for printing.
Measures the paper thickness and adjusts space between blanket and impression cylinders according to thickness of paper stock.
Starts press, examines printed copy for ink density, position on paper, and registration, and makes adjustments to press throughout production run to maintain specific registration and color density.
Removes and cleans plate and cylinders.
Monitors the production during run quality, maintaining all required samples.
Must work well with others in a team environment.
Recording of time and production for job costing.
Ability to meet daily production standards.
Performs all required preventative maintenance in accordance to production schedule.
Maintains a clean and organized work area and press.
