**SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITES:**
The Technical Support Representative will provide to customers, both external and internal, a primary contact for the exchange of technical assistance and information. This assistance can vary from product selection or application guidance to operational troubleshooting for our products.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Assist customers in troubleshooting IDEX Fire and Safety products via phone, email, and in person.
+ Able to speak or give presentations and/or training to both internal and external customers.
+ Process RMA's in a timely manner Process warranty/non-warranty orders.
+ Manage Tech Support cases in CRM and act as a backup for Customer Service cases when needed.
+ Work closely with engineering, and manufacturing teams to facilitate information with customers.
+ Support the product management function and work closely with the Service and Quality Assurance departments.
+ Provide technical support requests to Product Managers, Engineers, and others as needed to assist the customer.
+ Provide customers with product advisories, announcements, or other technical data a need in order to provide world class customer satisfaction.
+ Must embrace a challenging, fast paced, demanding yet rewarding customer service environment where the work you do can save life and property.
+ The ability to work with limited supervision A proven record of accomplishment by meeting time bound objectives and quality targets.
+ Ability to travel intermittently as needed - 10%
+ All other duties as assigned.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
+ Associates Degree or Military experience with MOS and Avionics or Electronics desirable.
+ Experience in the Fire Suppression Industry desired
+ Experience with electrical control systems
+ Experience with PLC, Multi plex systems, industrial control systems preferred
+ Experience with heavy duty mobile equipment
+ Experience with J1939
+ Mechanically inclined with an ability to diagnose issues quickly
+ Familiarity with Class 1, Hale, Akron Brass, Weldon, a division of Akron Brass, and HURST products desire
+ Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

ROLE PURPOSE

The CDL Class A Tanker Endorsed driver will be responsible for operating semi-trucks hauling company equipment on flatbeds and water tanker trailers within the concrete pavement restoration industry.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
Safely operate semi trucks and verify that they are ready to operate at the beginning of each shift, at the end of each shift, and during the shift.
Completion of time, mileage sheets, and log book.
Perform daily pre-trip and post trip inspections of assigned vehicle.
Check all oils, fluids, coolant, air filters, fuel and lights prior to transport.
Daily wash grease and fuel equipment at the end of shift.
Make sure all grease fittings are greased. In the event fittings are malfunctioning, notify Supervisor in addition to writing it up on your post-trip report.

Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Supervisor is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's accounts receivable operations to ensure timely collections, accurate cash application, and effective resolution of customer deductions and chargebacks. This position supervises the AR Analyst, oversees all AR processes, and serves as a hands-on lead and back-up for critical AR and cash application tasks as needed. The AR Supervisor works closely with Customer Service, Sales and Finance teams to maintain strong customer relationships and achieve organizational cash flow objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the daily activities of the Accounts Receivable and Cash Application functions, providing direction, training, and performance feedback to the AR Analyst.
* Oversee customer account management, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances and resolution of payment discrepancies.
* Monitor AR aging, drive collection strategies to meet DSO targets, and manage customer credit risk.
* Review and approve customer credit limits, ensuring compliance with company credit policies.
* Partner with Customer Service to resolve customer deductions, chargebacks, and disputes in a timely and equitable manner.
* Review and follow up on pending chargebacks, deductions, and credit balances in coordination with Customer Service.
* Prepare and analyze monthly AR aging reports and collection performance metrics.
Cash Application and Treasury Activities
* Oversee the automated and manual cash application processes, ensuring timely and accurate posting of customer payments.
* Review and post payments using the Bank of America iRec system to JD Edwards ERP
* Manage remote deposit activities (check scanning) and maintain related documentation.
* Reconcile month-end cash accounts and ensure journal entries (JEs) are accurately recorded for merchant and analysis fees, credit balance reclasses, and other adjustments.
* Provide back-up support to the AR Analyst for cash application, statement preparation, and other transactional activities during absences or peak periods.
* Perform weekly bank uploads for AP runs
Collections and Customer Relations
* Ensure prompt follow-up on past-due accounts and maintain proactive communication with key customers to expedite collections.
* Handle direct follow-up with strategic accounts, providing invoice-level updates and correspondence on aging items.
* Coordinate with the third-party collections vendor to monitor performance and escalate issues as needed.
* Maintain a database of customer financial contacts and ensure all interactions are professional, diplomatic, and solution-oriented.
* Prepare and send monthly customer statements through JDE (Weil-McLain, Patterson-Kelley, etc.) and track responses to outstanding balances.
Financial Reporting and Forecasting
* Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly AR reports, highlighting aging trends, cash receipts, and collection status.
* Forecast cash collections weekly, identifying potential risks and variances to plan.
* Perform monthly account reconciliations and prepare supporting schedules for month-end closing.
* Calculate and record month-end journal entries, including bad debt and cash discount reserve adjustments.
Compliance
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and corporate accounting policies.
* Support external and internal audits through accurate documentation and timely responses to inquiries.
* Participate in new customer vetting, customer master data approvals, and credit reviews to mitigate risk exposure.
Education and Experience
* Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable and collections.
* Prior supervisory or team lead experience required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP preferred.

How you will make an Impact
Genfare is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. The Technical Services Engineer at Genfare has a core function to manage technical inquiries, perform onsite system reviews of our fare collection solutions and supervise and participate in special projects. You will be responsible for software system installations, Level 3 troubleshooting and training client teams-including their IT, planning, operations and maintenance departments. You will collaborate with internal intra department teams to make sure that implementation projects are on schedule and ensure that all services are documented to the designated project and tracked to completion. You will supervise special project rollouts and make sure that financial goals for the company are met. A successful Technical Services Engineer will also identify and solve any gaps in current processes while on the job and then be able to leverage any changes that need to be made internally to resolve an issue. You will also document implementation of new products and monitor and train internal teams. In this role you are a client advocate and need to be able to communicate the voice of the client.
This is a highly-visible, client-facing role. It will be critical to present yourself in a professional and courteous manner. You will need to ensure that a client's expectations are met, and are responsible for receiving the final sign-off from them before invoicing begins.
The ideal candidate has exceptional presentation skills, thinks quickly on their feet and will represent Genfare with poise and professionalism.
What you can expect in this role
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
* Provide Level 2 and Level 3 Technical Support on software and hardware issues.
* Serve as a product expert, being able to solve complex product and system issues.
* Provide expert product knowledge across our product lines.
* Troubleshoot fare collection systems and networks over the phone and at client sites.
* Utilize Jira, SAP or other tools to view requests for scheduling.
* Provide product training.
* Understand customer goals.
* Identify consequences of various solutions.
* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring they are met.
* Solicit and analyse customer feedback for product performance and value.
* Handle customer issues promptly and escalate issues as necessary.
* Provide clients with an overview of installation activities and assist them with training and support.
* Configure and test fare collection systems and networks. Review technical specifications.
* Assist in the development of sales and marketing information.
* Complete special projects as directed by management.
* Some travel may be required for Technical Support activities (~ 10%).

What We Are Looking For
We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:
* Related Experience BA/BS degree in Engineering or related field
* 5+ years of experience, preferably in fare collection or a related industry
* Working experience with Windows based software support Experience with networking
* Good communication skills and ability to train customers on troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware issues
* Strong skills in debugging, problem solving and documenting technical analysis
* Knowledge of Jira, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite AWS certification and experience in
* AWS applications support Expertise in Embedded C, SSIS, DB2 and SQL server
* Experience in VMWare, Azure or Hyper-V is a plus Experience in Mobile App support on Android and iOS is a plus
* Experience in Linux, UNIX Shell Scripting, Java, HTML, XML and CSS is a plus
