What you must do as a Maintenance Technician: * Assists Maintenance Manager with all plant maintenance operations, ensuring that plant premises and equipment are kept in safe and clean condition * Assists in building a maintenance program that optimizes the plant's uptime, considers costs, and satisfies all industry regulations and OSHA guidelines * Complete PMs. Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild equipment and document the work done without direct supervision * Monitor equipment and ensure it is kept in good working order. Work closely with management to repair or replace equipment as needed * Monitor boilers and associated equipment for proper operation * Assist outside contractors with repairing and installing machinery * Able to apply general plumbing and HVAC skills to maintain equipment and facility * Always complies with company policies and procedures * Maintains a neat and clean working area throughout the day * Operate forklift to unload and load trucks. * Other duties as assigned, as required by scope of work or customer needs.
