Primary Responsibilities
Lead and manage a small residential plumbing crew, ensuring quality workmanship and jobsite efficiency
Plan, assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test plumbing systems including water, drainage, gas, and specialty systems in accordance with local and state plumbing codes
Oversee plumbing work from rough-in through trim-out on custom residential projects
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings to determine system layouts
Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs as needed
Coordinate with Project Managers, builders, and other trades to maintain schedules and quality standards
Select materials and hardware; assist with labor and material estimates
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance, quality, and cleanliness
Maintain accurate job documentation and records
Manage and maintain company-owned tools, equipment, and materials
Additional Duties
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and jobsite procedures
Maintain knowledge of applicable building and plumbing codes
Identify and correct unsafe work conditions; report unresolved issues immediately
Travel regularly to job sites throughout the Upstate
Interact professionally with builders, homeowners, and internal team members
