POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Director, Israeli Department, the Clinical Consultant/Educator is a member of the Israeli Department and Parent Consultant teams and supports the development of programs that are responsive to the needs of Israeli families in the agency service area. The Clinical Consultant/Educator provides best practice parent services including parent coaching and consultation and psychoeducational workshops for parents, and other supports for children and families within their scope of practice. The Clinical Consultant/Educator understands and assists in meeting budget and services goals, understands the mission and objectives of Jewish Family and Children's Services, and works within the limitations of the Agency's resources and performs all duties in compliance with agency standards.

REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed mental health professional (MSW, ASW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, PsyD) preferred
Three plus (3+) years of postgraduate experience
Bilingual Hebrew-English speaker with knowledge of and sensitivity to Israeli culture
Demonstrate ability to relate effectively with parents, individually and in groups
Understanding of the growth and development of children and the ability to interpret that information in a supportive and professional manner to parents, caregivers, and to other professionals
Advanced degree in child development-related field
Licensed or license eligible in California to practice psychotherapy as part of the job responsibilities
Previous experience providing parent consultation and support and teaching parent-focused workshops
Experience in using MS Office applications and general computer skills
Ability to function independently and cooperatively as part of a team
Desire to work in a multi-discipline social service setting

Key Responsibilities

Train and educate new NPs and PAs on the principles and procedures of physiatry, including joint and trigger point injections, spasticity treatments, and various pain management strategies. This will be ~50% of the job (increasing as the company grows).
Facilitate successful integration by introducing new providers to facility administrators and primary care teams, helping them establish excellent working relationships.
Provide guidance on developing efficient patient rounding schedules and streamlined charting processes as well as the skills needed to perform treatments, even to providers inexperienced in physiatry and new graduates.
Travel extensively (48-50 weeks per year, Monday through Friday; longer only if the interim clinical coverage requires a longer stay - but rarely longer than 2 weeks at most) to various skilled nursing facilities nationwide. We currently operate in 10 states with ambitions to serve all 50 states within the next 5 years. You will be crucial in achieving this goal.
Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting role, you must have:
A current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification.
A valid medical and DEA license.
At least 3-5 years of clinical experience in Physiatry, PM&R, Skilled Nursing Facilities, or Post-Acute Care. This is a MUST.

· Act as a liaison between surgical staff, patients, anesthesia providers, and administrative team

Qualifications:
· Current RN license in CA (required)
· BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in their designated region by providing exceptional customer service, professionalism, and communication and follow up.
Proactively identify at-risk accounts to operations and finance departments as well as appropriate senior management along with strategies and suggestions to retain such accounts.
Provide facility direction, system training, workflow development, planning support and communications support to the client and implementation team as well as prepare products to customer specifications before delivery.
Collaborate with service, operations, finance, and engineering departments to provide feedback for improved customer service, software, and implementations.
Attend and participate in company and professional meetings, including national and international medical conferences.
Understand administrative reporting responsibilities and maintain and submit accurate and timely reports, including expense reports, in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures.
Maintain and manage time, travel, and expenses within set corporate guidelines and policies using best practices as directed by management.

Qualifications
Qualified Clinical Nurse, Respiratory Therapist, or Perfusionist with minimum of five years of ICU and/or OR experience. Industry experience preferred.
Required Skills
Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
Must be able to work and travel occasionally in the United States and maintain proper vendor credentialing standards and requirements.

Performs specific treatments as ordered by the physician and under the supervision of the RN, ARNP, or MD.
