Idaho Forest Group Leadership

Chad Kosmicki joined Idaho Forest Group as the Chief Technology Officer in April 2018. Prior to joining the IFG Team, he worked as Director of IT/Automation at USS/POSCO Industries in California for over 16 years. During his time at USS/POSCO, he also spent time as a Software Engineer, Controls Engineer, and Maintenance Engineer. Chad received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho in 2001. He has a passion for advancing the Lumber Industry and integrating Technologies that improve Safety, Quality, and the Efficiency of our Mills. Chad also enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his kids in their various sporting activities.

Julie has more than 30 years experience leading companies as a CFO and Administrative officer with responsibility for accounting, finance, human resources, purchasing, and information technology. Julie started her forest products career at an early age supporting the family logging business. In the early 2000’s Julie worked for IFG for five years as the VP of Finance and Administration. Since that time she has expanded her experience working with companies and industries such as publicly held, family owned, venture capital backed, manufacturing, retail, agricultural, healthcare, and the list goes on. Julie now brings to IFG best practices from these many areas as well as her formal education including degrees in business, accounting, economics, technology management, and organizational development.
