Essential Functions as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk:
· Either manually or by use of hand truck or forklift, moves materials, supplies and finished goods.
· Obtain shipping bills of lading and necessary signatures and return completed paperwork to shipping office.

Essential Job Functions & Requirements: - Ability to walk and stand for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to push/pull a picking cart - Cherry Picker Experience - Basic computer knowledge - UPS Software experience preferred, not required
- Use RF Scanner or computer tablet to accurately pick orders from bin locations
- Ability to lift 25lbs regularly and to 50lbs occasionally. Team lifts over that weight
- Ability to safely climb a ladder to pick orders that aren't on ground level
- Able to safely use a manual pallet jack to move pallets around the Shipping Department as well as to pick larger truck orders
- Able to safely use necessary material handling equipment to pick orders from high bins
- Able to accurately perform cycle counts of inventory
- Possess a positive attitude and the willingness to be crossed trained in all warehouse functions and departments
- General warehouse cleaning/maintenance
- Follow all food safety guidelines
- Flexible schedule that allows you to work overtime on short notice to make sure all orders are shipped in a timely manner
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Perform all other duties assigned by site leadership
Required Education:
Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of a high school education or equivalent.
Physical Demands:
- Body motor skills sufficient to move around warehouse frequently
- Ability to be certified on powered industrial equipment including but not limited to: Cherry Picker
- Ability to stand at a desk/workstation for periods of time
- Physically capable of lifting 50lbs and frequently lifting smaller packages throughout the workday. Team lifts over 50lbs

We are seeking a skilled contract Shipping Associate to join our team in Dayton, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse management. Principle Accountabilities/Targets:
Complete orders on time
Pack and Ship orders per delivery dates on paperwork and per targets provided by the Shipping Lead and/or Dept. Manager
Zero safety incedents
Adhernce to Safety Regulations within the workplace
Understands Material Safety Data Sheets for proper handling and disposal of any hazardous chemicals used in their department
Accuracy of work: correct labelling, packaging, destination, product, quantity, ship method, ASN, freight loading and any other requirements
Accountable to performing duties as per documented in the standard work instructions
Organized workplace
Daily, weekly, and monthly 5S activities
Education/Experience/Requirements:
Basic reading, writing and math skills; high school diploma or equivalent; trade school acceptable
Familiarity with or open to learning various type of material handling equipment
Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel and lift cumbersome and/or heavy objects. Ability to handle and lift 30 pounds; bending and stretching
Ability to work in a team environment
Basic knowledge of computer usage

Verifies dock gates are secured with safety chain or shut.
Accepts responsibility for safety and security of all Company property.
Maintains equipment and work area in clean and orderly condition.
Maintains records and files in an orderly condition.
Undertakes and completes other responsibilities as assigned by store management, which may include assisting with customer deliveries outside of the store.
Undertake and support any policy, change, system or work rules the Company implements regarding the purpose of this position.
