The Navy E-6 is an airborne command post and communications relay based on the Boeing 707 platform The aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S. border, and in source and transit zone countries. This platform, now modified to the E-6B standard, conveys instructions from the National Command Authority to fleet ballistic missile submarines, a mission known as TACAMO ("Take Charge And Move Out"). Primary duties: Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. Activities include identifying, defining, justifying, and implementing capital and non-capital improvement projects improving operational effectiveness and meeting business objectives. In addition, this role participates in unit problem troubleshooting, process hazard analysis and other process analysis support of operating units. Qualifications & Required Skills: A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred. Degree's in other engineering or related disciplines will be considered with relevant experience. 5-15 years experience including 2 years in process design along with operating experience in a chemical or similar process is a required. Aspen Plus or equivalent simulation software Proficiency in several Chemical Engineering sub-disciplines (fluid flow, heat transfer, distillation/separations, process control, modeling, reaction engineering) is a plus. Design Package reviews, Hazard and Operability studies (HAZOP), Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), Incident Investigations, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR). Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Completes Process Design Packages to support process improvements which includes PFD and P&ID development, equipment and instrumentation process spec sheets and preliminary Process control strategies. Effectively completes the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) activities and follows the Project Implementation Process. Functions as process design engineer on licensing and capital projects developing PFDs, P&IDs, and multiple design data sheets for a variety of process equipment and processes. Proficiency in several Chemical Engineering sub-disciplines (fluid flow, heat transfer, distillation/separations, process control, modeling, reaction engineering) is a plus. Operational experience with Ethylene, Ethylene Oxide or their derivatives is desired.

Process Chemical Engineer Duties: * Responsible for providing process optimization and engineering support for the mill which will include but not limited to, compliance process coordination, lean projects, quality and product safety, and analytical and systems support. * Develops and maintains methods for tracking and reducing operational costs. * Ensure that mill rules are enforced and that company policies are followed. * Coordinate the efforts of our outside resources to improve our operation by filtering and utilizing appropriate information. Schedule and supervise mill and contract employees as required. * Conducts data analysis projects and uses data to make business decisions.
