Job Summary:
* New Season operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction regain control of their lives.

Essential Functions:
* Works with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
* Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
* Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
* Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs.
* Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required.
* Performs direct one-on-one patient conseling through individual or group counseling.
* Reports patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required.
* Reports patient grievances as required.
* Educates patient in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
* Obtains Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
* Assists in monitoring all patient activities on center premises.
* Actively participates in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
* Ensures the reading and understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
* Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)
* Is responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
* Actively participates in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by CARF, the State, DEA, Board of Pharmacy and any other agency site visits as dictated by the state laws or regulations.
* Participates in all staff meetings
* Ensures compliance with local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations and policies.
* Always acts in the best interests of the program and company; honors, supports, and protects the proprietary data and rights of the company.
* Performs other tasks as assigned by clinic, region or corporate leadership.

To support clients engaged in the dependency system through mentoring and modeling to develop a strong therapeutic bond with assigned children. The mentor will work with the child and caretakers to create a plan to address areas of improvement, such as academic performance, interpersonal relationships, placement instability, and behaviors. Document breastfeeding contacts in the FL-Wise system in accordance with department policy. Documentation is accurate, clear, and legible for all contacts made with WIC clients.
Manage caseload of assigned WIC clients and contact clients according to established procedures, maintaining client confidentiality. Coordinate services for clients and makes referrals to appropriate agencies as needed.
Assist the local WIC agency in outreach, promoting breastfeeding through special projects and duties as assigned. Understand WIC eligibility criteria and programmatic requirements in order to answer basic questions about WIC and make appropriate referrals.
Attend mandatory and scheduled trainings. Adhere to FDOH Collier County policies and procedures pertaining to client confidentially, and data security. Accurate and timely submission of Employee Activity Record (EARs), time records, travel logs, monthly report of activities and other reports are submitted to supervisor. Youth Development Advocate The Shelter for Abused Women & Children
Reports to:Residential Child & Youth Services SupervisorEmployment Type:Fulltime, Non-exempt

The Impact of This Position:
This role leads The Shelters After School Program for children of survivors of domestic violence residing in the onsite Emergency Shelter. This role fosters student growth by providing mentorship, resource connections, and individualized support. By ensuring a safe, engaging environment and collaborating with families and community partners, it drives meaningful outcomes and equips students for success.
Non-Negotiables:
Associates or BA/BS degree in an applicable field, preferred.
Demonstrated success in delivering youth programming.
Experience providing childcare to school-aged children, leading youth recreation & youth camp programs, as a teachers assistant and/or equivalent experience
Completion of first aid and CPR class.
Must pass state & federal background checks, provide satisfactory references, and drug screening.
Proof of COVID19 vaccinations or exemption.
Successful completion of The Shelters Core Competency training upon hire.
Valid FL Drivers License.
What Youll Do:
Assist with curriculum activities and housekeeping as needed.
Collaborate with supervisor to organize field trips and learning-based events with community partners.
Collect and maintain participant data for quarterly reporting on a timely basis.
Develop and maintain a safe, enjoyable After School Program focused on character development and academic achievement.
Develop program goals, objectives, lesson plans, and calendars.
Enforce DCF Compliant safety regulations and manage participant behavior.
Facilitate developmentally stimulating experiences and create a positive, youth-centered environment.
Lead and participate in physical activities and games with emphasis on incorporating the outdoors as weather permits.
Meet with parents to discuss youths progress in After School Program.
Offer individual advocacy and counseling, including crisis intervention and safety planning to youth and/or parents, as needed.
Provide needs-based referrals for outside services to participants and families.
Supervise children to ensure safety and well-being.
