This role requires strong technical project management experience in hardware installation with software integration in a field construction environment. You will lead and manage cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality solutions on time within scope and budget. This role reports to the Director of Project Management and Installation. This full-time role is based in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and involves >75% travel to customer sites and operational locations. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Setup Define scope and objectives: Work with stakeholders to clearly define the project's goals, deliverables, and success criteria. Create project plan: Develop a detailed plan that includes tasks, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Utilization of Project Management Software: Utilize Project planning / management software for all project related activities. Budget management: Estimate project costs, create a budget, and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle. Contractor / Vendor Management: Locate, onboard and manage contractors / vendors as required for the project. Leading and Motivating the team: Assemble a project team, define roles, and delegate tasks. Project Execution and Monitoring Lead the team: Motivate, guide, and coach the team to ensure they meet or exceed expectations. Travel to site for project install kick off and install closeout. Monitor progress: Track project progress against the plan, monitor the schedule and budget, and report on performance. Manage risks: Identify potential risks, assess their impact, and develop strategies to mitigate them. Handle issues: Address obstacles, solve problems, and adjust the plan as needed. Stakeholder communication: Keep stakeholders informed of project status, challenges, and successes. Project Control and Closing Manage quality: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Document and close: Ensure all project activities are completed, final documentation is completed, and the project is officially closed. Qualifications Ideal Background Skill Sets 3 to 5 years' experience managing technical projects that involve hardware installation and software integration. 3 to 5 years' experience in construction project management encompassing, trenching, conduit, concrete, flat sawing, general assembly and installation. Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, mechanical engineering or related technical field. Meticulous with detail; excels in driving results. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams in challenging environments to achieve project success. Experience developing and maintaining standardized work instructions. Experience and ability to develop and maintain BOM (bill of materials). Experience and ability to read blueprints for construction, assembly, installation. PMP Certification OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Thrives in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments and can balance structure with agility.
