Essential Duties Responsible for inventory maintenance and reconciliation daily Perform count of selected goods and materials on hand daily either manually or using a handheld scanner Work with production personnel to ensure proper rotation and location of all inventory items Work with Inventory Control Manager to perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them Works closely with Inventory Control Manager to perform month end duties as needed Suggests improvements to inventory procedures which will lead to improved accuracy and speed of completion Follows appropriate procedure for the inventory process which complies with audit standards Makes entries into computer system as needed to verify accuracy of current inventory levels Reconciles vendor inventory system with our inventory system for consignment items Runs reports for monthly cycle counts Performs special projects as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 2-4 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Proficient in Microsoft Office - particularly Excel, computer literacy required Forklift training preferred
