Follow the daily manufacturing processes of cosmetics and assist in pharmaceutical products, ensuring that safety, quality, cGMP compliance, and throughput are of key importance
Understand, and ensure all applicable SOPs are followed
Maintain and/or complete departmental log books and ensure their accurate completion within the SOP requirements for each
Possess an in-depth understanding of compounding techniques for the manufacturing of cosmetic and assistance of pharmaceutical products, including but not limited to, emulsions, anhydrous products, gels, liquids, powders, and dyes
Understand and follow cGMP requirements in alignment with company and departmental SOPs and guidelines.
Perform and maintain quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
Have an understanding of the manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to, pumps, silos, mills, kettles, mixers, in-line homogenizers, temperature gauges, DI water systems, drop-in homogenizers, valves, pressure gauges, screw conveyors, scales and pH meters
Follow all check weight procedures for the weighing of active raw materials
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
