Based in San Francisco, California or Nevada, working hybrid (remotely or from a Jacobs office), we will ask you work on a one or two-person field crew to perform surveys using GNSS and Robotic Total Station equipment with potential to travel to sites across the US and Globe. You will also process those surveys to create survey products such as control surveys, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys. It is expected that approximately 50% of the role will be in the field and 50% will be in the office. We'll Also Ask you to: Perform field duties on a one or two-person crew, including: * Perform control, boundary, topography, laser scanning and other tasks. * Perform construction staking. * Collect survey data using GNSS receivers, scanners, total stations, levels, and survey controllers. * Produce clear and concise field notes and quality field data. * Communicate with supervisor and office staff about important aspects of the project. * Work outdoors in variable weather conditions and varied terrain.
