Responsibilities: * Perform commissioning, maintenance, and repair of CAT power generators up to 3000KW, including those powered by natural gas, biogas, and diesel. * Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of generators. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with generators and related equipment. * Perform load bank testing and other diagnostic procedures to assess generator performance. * Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventory. * Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding generator operation and maintenance. * Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies during all service activities. * Collaborate with other technicians and team members to resolve complex technical issues. * Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in power generation. * Interact with commercial customers to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of power generators, preferably 50KW up to 3000 kW. * Strong knowledge of CAT generator systems, including diesel and gas engines, electrical components, and control systems. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. * Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites. * Knowledge of control panels and switchgear is a plus. Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools. * Comfortable working in various environments, including outdoor and industrial settings. * Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as needed. * Technician travel will consist within the Wisconsin and be assigned to the territory surrounding the branch of hire.
