Coordinates and writes standardized documents for each department in the college pertaining to facilities, equipment and services available which would support research proposals. Updates these documents in terms of spacing, equipment, and availability to reflect new labs and faculty, and those no longer in service.
10% - Essential - Training:
Coordinates and encourages faculty to submit large multi-disciplinary proposals by searching for opportunities and matching them to the faculty by disciplines. Looks for best practices in proposal writing and presents findings on a one-on-one with faculty or via workshops. Conducts presentation during faculty orientation explaining role in CECAS proposal development.
10% - Essential - Web Page:
Regularly updates web page regarding new opportunities, and information on tuition remission, fringe, and indirect rates as needed. Writes various letters of recommendation as requested by the Dean. Edits/rewrites peer review journals for faculty. Occasionally assists other CECAS departments in creating documents such as consulting agreements, statements of work.

The Sports Technology Operations Intern will be exposed to all elements of our operations department. The Winston-Salem Dash is the High-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and are searching for highly motivated individuals who are currently enrolled in a Sports Turf/Horticulture program or similar, to join our Grounds Crew. A member of the South Atlantic League, the Dash play their home games at Truist Stadium located in Winston-Salem, NC.

Preferred availability is April 1 through October 1, but flexible based on school schedule
Duties And Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining the playing surface at Truist Stadium including but not limited to turf areas, infield dirt, mound and home plate areas, bullpens, and warning track
All cultural practices such as aerifying, verti-cutting, top dressing, edging, and fertility program
Irrigation maintenance and repair
Assist with field tarp and weather-related situations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Preferred experience in Baseball, but not required
Strong time-management skills
Good interpersonal skills and able to professionally interact with coaches, players and team personnel
Ability to multi-task
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in all weather conditions
