Purpose of Role Under Armour is looking for a Copywriter to help shape our brand narrative by crafting compelling stories that disrupt sports culture and inspire athletes on the digital platforms where they spend time. In this role you will work collaboratively with a team of designers, producers, copywriters, and marketers to bring to life Brand and product stories that resonates with athletes. You'll be responsible for translating creative briefs into powerful executions, then iterating these stories per platform to be most impactful for those communities, inspiring and informing the next generation of athletes. This role will be instrumental in how our Brand speaks to the world-ensuring consistency, clarity, emotional resonance and channel nuance in every message. Your Impact * Develop on-brand copy for product stories (informed by our Brand Vision, Mission, and Values) across all digital, social, web, experiential, and print marketing platforms. This includes meeting with partners to align on marketing/creative strategy, as well as collaborating with creative and cross-functional partners. * Support senior Copywriters across the creative department by writing content to support Style Guide deliverables * Writing copy that is the best expression of UA's brand voice across all of Under Armour's marketing and advertising content to attract, engage, and convert our target demographic, the Focused Performer * Partnering with designers and directors to develop transformative storytelling executions and experiences that strengthen the brand's emotional connection with the Focused Performer Qualifications * Ability to think strategically, manage many tasks at once, and deliver high-quality output every time, on time * Requires samples of work submitted with resume and salary history [Examples: Digital/print ads, implemented campaigns, email marketing, direct mail, POP, online content/Ecommerce site reference (URLs)] * Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills * Excellent organization, and collaboration skills * Microsoft Office and Mac platform proficiency * The Copywriter must be a writer with strong fundamental skills as well as demonstrated creative capabilities. * This role offers the opportunity to begin to develop leadership and management skills. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor's Degree * Minimum of 2-4 years of communications and/or writing/content development experience. * Experience writing copy across digital channels is a MUST, and experience with retail/e-commerce is a strong plus. Workplace Location * Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore,MD office. * Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week. Relocation * No relocation provided Base Compensation $60,890.80 - $83,724.85 USD Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
