Kelly is looking for a **Production Supervisor** to work in **Bloomington, IL** at our customer, Ferrero, a global confectionery company recognized as one of the largest chocolate and confectionary companies in the world. Let us help you grow at work and discover the next step in your career, all while being a vital part of your community. **Pay:** $30-32/hr based on experience **Hours: 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm** (must be able to train on first shift 3-4 weeks) **This position is ONSITE Bloomington, IL** MUST be able to commute to Bloomington, IL **Main Responsibilities:** + Oversee daily activities to optimize production factors: materials, processes, labor, and equipment + Responsible for all production phases within your area of competence (preparation, packaging, etc.) during assigned shift + Collaborate with Production Manager on resource allocation and skill development + Apply company criteria to manage resources on production lines (changes, break substitutions) + Manage personnel conflicts, lead disciplinary meetings, and recommend measures to HR + Partner with HR for personnel selection and evaluation of new hires + Promote workplace safety and implement strategies to reduce employee absences + Provide input to guidelines for skill development among line employees + Facilitate seamless shift handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members, and management **Who We Are Looking For:** + Bachelor's degree AND 2 years of leadership experience (preferably in a union manufacturing environment) -OR-5 years of supervisory/management experience (preferably in a union manufacturing environment) + Experience with SAP preferred + Strong understanding of manufacturing production, machinery, stock management, and production models + Excellent communication, troubleshooting, interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills + Ability to direct production employees in a proactive and positive manner + Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure while maintaining urgency + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
