The welding tasks will involve beams ranging from 3/8 inch to 1 inch in thickness using NR-311 wire. **Responsibilities** + Perform structural steel welding using the fluxcore process. + Weld on I-beams, beams, and complex tube steel columns. + Ensure welds are suitable for 2 to 3-story building structures. + Utilize welding on beams ranging from 3/8 inch to 1 inch. + Apply NR-311 type wire for welding tasks. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel welding using the fluxcore process. + Proven experience in performing production welds on steel and mild steel. + Ability to read and interpret weld symbols and drawings. **Work Environment** The work environment is a steel yard, mostly covered, although it is open on the south and east entrances. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
