Responsibilities
· Assure that all Individuals are being treated with respect and dignity.
· Prepare client's stipend every four weeks and site food, non-food, staff travel every two weeks for the Community House Managers.
· Review invoices and check requests.
· Sort, organize and set invoices up for payment procedure
· Data input of Payables and printing the checks weekly.
· Monthly prepare and electronically submits the Union Dues Report.
· Electronically submits payment to Principal for our 403 b pension plan for each payroll date.
· Prepares report and payment to AFLAC bi-weekly.
· Electronically submits payments to Assurity and Hartford monthly.
· Data input and distributes food and non-food spending money bi-weekly to the Community House Managers(applies the funds to the pre-paid credit cards); reviews the GIANT invoices for purchased items.
· Data input and distributes consumer's spending money monthly to the Community House Managers.
· Responsible for employees return petty cash receipts
· Prepares and submits monthly invoices to RHD for 2240 Brighton property for Rent and Utilities
· Annually prepares a listing of vendors for the 1099 form IRS Independent Contractor reporting
· Informs Accounting Manager and Fiscal Director of any problems regarding Payables.
· Attend team meeting for Consumers with fiscal issues
· Will serve has a backup to Accounting Manager once trained in AP.
· Supervises Fiscal Clerk for reconciliations food/nonfood, stipend and gas receipts
· Train/Inform CHM, MPS, etc. how to manage any funds received from Fiscal department
· Organize year-end pick up older files to the storage.
· General office work including filing.
· Other related duties as necessary.

The Compliance Enhancement Coordinator (CEC) is responsible for ensuring that all
KenCCID's Individuals and employees are in a safe and healthy environment. This professional
oversees the incident management system and is responsible for all incidents being reported,
documented and investigated in a timely manner. The CEC is responsible for maintaining the
standards of quality including reliability, functionality, effectiveness, efficiency and performance
of services provided to the Individuals. The CEC is part of the compliance team and is
responsible for ensuring that business and daily activities are conducted legally and in full
compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and other federal laws, as
well as Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Office of Developmental Programs
(ODP), PA Title 55, §6400 and §6100 regulations, and Subchapter Q §6000.961 regulations.
The CEC position is a full-time exempt salaried position. This professional is expected to
oversee KenCCID's compliance with the state's incident management system, proactively work
to avoid incidents that must be reported, and works to educate all staff with regard to eliminating
abuse and neglect for our Individuals. This position reports to the Compliance Manager, and
works collaboratively with the Program Director, Human Resources (HR) Director, the Training
Manager, and other KenCCID staff.
The intent of this description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and
responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Incumbents may be requested to perform
job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
Core Responsibilities
• Ensures that the safety and well-being of the Individuals is protected at all times and that
the rights of the Individuals are observed at all times
• Tracks incidents and investigation data and performs program analysis of trends
• Coordinates with Compliance Director and staff regarding the use of
incident/investigation data analysis in the development and monitoring of Quality
Improvement Plan Works with ODP and other federal and state agencies to manage
licensing and other compliance issues
• Provides oversight of the incident reporting process as required by the state or funder
requirements, including review of all incident reports to ensure quality, timeliness, and
appropriate follow-through Incident Management
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the 6100 and 6400 regulations
• Implements the incident management processes and ensure that safeguards are in place to
protect the Individuals under KenCCID's care at all times.
• Provides oversight of investigatory process within the program to include:
• Determination of what incidents warrant formal investigation
• Assignment to appropriate Certified Investigator and supervision of the
investigatory process.
• Review and final approval of written investigation summary and report
• Monitor and stage the investigatory process within the HCSIS/EIM system
• Follows the established protocols with the current Investigation and Peer Review
Process
• Coordinates with the Training Manager and Training Coordinator in provision of training
related to
• incident reporting in accordance with state/funder requirements; and
• investigation practices
• Consults with HR Director and Compliance Manager regarding incident management and
investigations practices to ensure compliance with state and/or funder requirements,
KenCCID corporate policies and quality standards of speed, objectivity and
thoroughness.
Investigation Management
• Functions as a Certified Investigator and conducts investigations into abuse, neglect and
financial exploitation allegations implicating staff
• Conducts fair, quick, thorough, regular comprehensive investigations, based on
regulations and standards
• Serves on administrative review teams
• Coordinates with admin team regarding peer reviews of completed investigations with CI
and admin staff within the program
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
• Experience in managing compliance, particularly in the field of health care and/or
developmental disabilities
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and a minimum of three (3) years' relevant work
experience
• Certification as a Pennsylvania Certified Investigator
• Proven knowledge of state and federal regulations governing KenCCID, particularly the
§6100 and §6400 regulations
• Maintain valid driver's license

This professional is responsible for promoting KenCCID's vision, mission and values, and in implementing the best practices in the “Everyday Lives” publication from the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP).
The CHM is responsible for four core duties; directing care for up to six (6) Individuals residing at assigned homes, ensuring that assigned homes meet the compliance standards, managing allocated funds and resources for assigned homes, and supervising the work of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at assigned homes. Other duties may be assigned on an as-need basis.
The intent of this description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. Incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.
The CHM position is a full-time non-exempt hourly position. The CHM is required to be present at assigned homes on a scheduled basis. This position works in conjunction with Program Specialists (PS), and reports to a Residential Director (RD). As KenCCID operates its homes on a 24-hour, 365 day a year basis, the CHM will have the opportunity to work overtime hours, if approved by the RD.
Core Responsibilities
Ensures that all Individuals are being treated with respect and dignity and that the rights of the Individuals are observed at all times
Responsible for all assigned homes being in compliance with the group home licensing requirements set forth in Pennsylvania law (55 Pa. Code § 6400, hereinafter “6400 regulations”)
Manages and administers all financial accounts for assigned homes
Supervises the work of all Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assigned to the homes

Working with Individuals
Ensures that the specified services provided in the Individual Service Plans (ISPs) for each individual are provided, focusing on quality of life for Individuals
Submits monthly reports on the Individual's progress towards ISP outcomes to RD
Collaborates with PS and RD to review ISPs, behavior plans, assessments and medical histories regularly to ensure that all services are provided as required; reports on any recommendations, changes, or discrepancies in the plan
Attends and participates in ISP reviews or other meetings related to the Individual
Coordinates medical care for Individuals; reviews daily medication log and ensures that all Individuals meet all medical and dental appointments
Ensures that nutritional needs of Individuals are met, including ensuring that healthy food for Individuals is available and that Individuals follow any and all dietary guidelines and recommendations
Participates in the ongoing assessments, updates, and recommendations for the ISP
Reports any and all issues involving potential abuse or neglect of an Individual to Incident Management staff; completes incident reports and works with Incident Management on any investigations
Understands basics of social services system, Medicaid, ODP waiver programs, ISPs, staffing ratios, etc.
Works directly with family members, support coordinators, medical treatment teams, and others to support Individual goals
Works with outside stakeholders and service agencies to coordinate services; ensures transportation for Individuals to day program sites, job sites, or other appointments
Working with Compliance Issues
Ensures that all homes comply with the 6400 regulations on a daily basis
Ensures that safety equipment in all homes is in good working order, including but not limited to smoke detectors, security alarms, fire extinguishers, etc.
Monitors upkeep and maintenance of all assigned homes and files requests with maintenance staff for needed repairs
Prepares and submits weekly written reports on compliance status for all assigned homes
Alerts RDs of compliance issues at sites and resolves issues within 24 hours
Reviews and submits service notes, medical information, and other documentation through KenCCID's electronic records database
Conducts required monthly fire drills, reviews outcomes of fire drills with Individuals and staff, and documents status of drills
Responsible for compliance with federal OSHA standards at all assigned homes
Remains in compliance with ODP requirements regarding training, physicals, tuberculosis testing, and drivers license
Working with Fiscal Issues
Allocates and reconciles petty cash to the DSPs for food, shopping, and necessities for the individual
Ensures that groceries and all items purchased for the home are audited and delivered, and allocated for the Individual's use
only
Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of all KenCCID vehicles assigned to homes; monitors vehicle log and GPS reports, reports any damage to vehicles, and ensures that all vehicles are clean and gas levels do not drop below a quarter tank
Collaborates with fiscal department on all work orders or bids for maintenance services
Working with Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Ensures that DSPs complete assigned job responsibilities pursuant to their job descriptions and the Individual's ISP
Serve as role model and mentor for DSPs in terms of attendance, professionalism, and work ethic
Align DSP performance with KenCCID mission and values
Works with scheduling coordinator to ensure that DSPs are available to meet staffing ratios for all assigned homes
Reviews and approves requests for paid time off and collaborates with HR and payroll on any attendance, timesheet, or benefits issues
Provides site-specific orientation for all new employees stationed at assigned homes, including training on ISPs
Provides quarterly site-specific refresher orientation for all employees stationed at assigned homes, including training on ISPs, assessment and medical history
Observes, measures, and evaluates DSP job performance, utilizing supervision and evaluation tools
Enforces KenCCID's standards of conduct and discipline and documents issues where these standards are violated; collaborates with HR to issue verbal and written warnings
Collaborates with training coordinator to provide ongoing training for DSPs, and ensures that all DSPs are current on training requirements, including but not limited to online training, medication administration, first aid and CPR, and on working with nonverbal Individuals
Engages staff in frequent review of fire safety procedures, evacuation procedures, and the designated safe place outside the home in the event of a fire
Understands contents of union contract, employee handbook and employee benefits in managing work of DSPs
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Experience working face to face with people in a customer service, health/human services or business environment, ideally with demonstrated supervision of employees in a direct care or community home environment that supports individuals with disabilities
