We are looking for an individual with experience performing Phase I/II ESAs, familiarity with OER e-Designation process, and performing investigations and remediation within the NYS BCP. The Project Manager will manage existing clients and projects, network, market, and cross-sell, assist with recruitment, and help train and mentor junior staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Managing environmental due diligence and Investigation and Remediation (I&R) projects, including NYS Spills,, NYS Brownfield and E-designation sites. Preparing work plans and proposals and managing projects in consideration of environmental goals, timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary requirements. Providing oversight, direction, management, and mentoring to environmental staff and supporting recruiting efforts. Managing key stakeholder relationships including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Establishing and tracking project milestones as well as quarterly business goals. Overseeing and managing various environmental projects to ensure their successful planning, implementation, and completion. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental specialists, engineers, contractors, and government agencies, to achieve project objectives. Collecting and analyzing environmental data, preparing reports, and communicating project progress, outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders and regulatory authorities. Maintaining accurate project documentation, including environmental assessments, permits, reports, and correspondence, and ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements. Requirements BS degree in environmental science, geology, civil engineering, or related field; MS preferred. 5 - 10 years of professional environmental consulting experience. 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification required. Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be team oriented with strong capability to motivate others. Must be a highly motivated self-starter. Must demonstrate superior ability in collaborative problem solving with stakeholders, clients, and teammates. Possess technical knowledge and experience with NYC E-designations, and brownfield sites within various programs, including the New York City Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) and New York State Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) as well as Superfund (CERCLA). Experience in managing other staff members. Preferred Qualifications: New York State Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred. Our Energy and Commissioning group is looking for an entry or junior level Construction Management Engineer with 2-5+ years of experience in field construction management. This individual will serve a key function in seeing our turnkey energy projects from design through construction and commissioning.
