Successful applicants must have a minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience and should possess experience that demonstrates progressive responsibility. You must be a licensed and/or certified phlebotomy technician in your state of residence. Applicants that possess drug screening knowledge and have a second language skill are preferred but is not necessary to apply. Compensation starts at $25 per hour, plus mileage. Cath Lab Technicians are responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, assisting with catheter-based procedures, and ensuring patient safety during these complex procedures. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare the cath lab environment for procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and tools are sterile, functional, and properly set up (e.g., catheters, guidewires, contrast agents, X-ray machines). Verify patient information, including medical history, allergies, and consent forms, before the procedure begins.
