A research associate with experience in disability research is sought to manage a project conducting case studies of state agencies who develop programs and projects for wildlife viewers. These procedures are primarily focused on diagnosing and treating heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and structural heart problems. Cath Lab Technicians are responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, assisting with catheter-based procedures, and ensuring patient safety during these complex procedures. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare the cath lab environment for procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and tools are sterile, functional, and properly set up (e.g., catheters, guidewires, contrast agents, X-ray machines). Verify patient information, including medical history, allergies, and consent forms, before the procedure begins. Assist in the preparation of patients, including setting up the monitoring equipment and ensuring proper positioning for optimal procedure results. Provide patient education and reassurance before the procedure, explaining what will happen and answering any questions. Assisting with Procedures: Assist cardiologists and other physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiological studies, and other interventional procedures. Handle sterile instruments, such as catheters, balloons, and stents, during the procedure, ensuring correct placement and maintaining a sterile field. Operate X-ray fluoroscopy equipment and assist with imaging during diagnostic tests, such as angiograms, to visualize blood vessels and heart function. Order necessary supplies, manage inventory, and ensure all materials needed for procedures are available and in good condition. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, sample and test limestone/Construction aggregates and associated products in a continuous plant manufacturing operation; data entry to SAP of all quality results including but not limited to certificate generation, reports, downloads, data verification and module maintenance; monitoring/cleaning calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and reports of conditions that could lead to product nonconformity; report & correct equipment irregularities. provide training and auditing (and subsequent documentation) on all new and existing procedures with hourly employees; work with our sales team to compile and maintain the customer guidelines.
