PATIENT POPULATION: The patient population served is all patients, including geriatric, adult, and adolescent. This also includes services which affect facility staff, physicians, visitors, vendors and the general public. Under the direction of the department Leader(s), the Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Tech performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures and is responsible for all imaging aspects in the Cardiac Cath Lab and IR with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Responsible for patient care, comfort and completion of required procedures. Must maintain the department in compliance with rules and regulations set forth by governing agencies. May be assigned to work in other Imaging modalities. Must follow AIDET and accepts reassignments and additional duties, when necessary, in a flexible and positive manner. Must maintain an environment of cohesiveness and teamwork. Must maintain the department in compliance with rules and regulations set forth by governing agencies.
Must be able to work normal/scheduled working hours to include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call. Agrees to participate, as directed, in emergencies and community disasters during scheduled and unscheduled hours. As a designated disaster service worker you are required to assist in times of need pursuant to the California Emergency Services Act.

To perform this job successfully, two (2) years of experience in Interventional Radiology/Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages if required.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must be capable of dealing effectively and ethically with co-workers, physicians, and other Hospital personnel.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have and maintain current licensure as a Diagnostic Radiological Technologist and Fluoroscopy in the state of California. Must have and maintain ARRT certification. Must have and maintain current BLS certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
*Indicates Essential Function
1* Performs diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures, radiographic procedures using prescribed positions, technical factors and immobilization devices as required and is responsible for the quality of the images. Delivers direct patient care and is responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs. Possesses knowledge of growth and development and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for all patient groups.
2* Orders and maintains a complete inventory of supplies for Cath Lab needs.
3* Performs Angiography tests and Diagnostic Cardiac procedures according to protocol.
4* Utilizes sterile techniques as needed. Prepares sterile trays for procedures.
5* Selects, operates and maintains equipment, as directed, and provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed Safety Standards.
6* Maintains adequate records as directed and is responsible for maintaining a clean and neat work area.
7* Understands and demonstrates utilization of the hardware in the Digital Radiology system according to protocol.
8* Understands and demonstrates utilization of the archiving system, i.e. digitizing, burns CDs to send with patient and/or families, according to protocol. Able to print hard copy with the Laser Printer, when necessary.
9 Operates Angio-Cath Lab., selecting proper technical factors for each exam.
a. Maintains high image quality.
10 Responsible for various clerical and Quality Assurance duties as assigned.
11 Assists Radiologist with contrast materials. Will assist the physician and scrub in, in terms of manifold set up, operation of cardiac output and all modalities of monitoring the patient while in procedure.
12 Performs venipuncture procedures for the purpose of contrast administration under supervision of attending Radiologist.
a. Has ascertained patient's allergy history and informed Radiologist or attending physician. Knowledge of universal precautions when dealing with bloody or bodily fluids.
13 Operates automatic, selecting proper flow rates and volumes for exam being performed.
a. Thorough knowledge of injector operation and flow rates/volumes, thus ensuring patient safety.
14 Enters correct information on keyboard, (patient name, birth date, etc.). Ensures proper name and patient id #'s on exams
16 Keeps work area clean and orderly. Reports and documents equipment malfunctions to Lead Tech and/or Director.
a. To ensure clean exam room for all patients and to have all equipment malfunctions addressed by a service engineer in a timely manner.
17 Is cross trained in Angio and Cardiac Cath Lab.
a. Knowledge of Angio system and procedures, ability to train new employees. Assists in instruction of Radiologic Technology students in respective areas
18 Demonstrates ability to deviate from normal procedure and improve techniques for obtaining diagnostic exams in emergencies and unusual situations.
19 Is capable of recognizing a diagnostically acceptable exam and consistently producing Angio and Cardiac Cath Lab exams of the same quality.

20 Accepts reassignments and additional duties, when necessary, in a flexible and positive manner.
Professional Clinical Responsibilities/Quality Indicators:
1 Maintains adequate records as directed and is responsible for maintaining a clean and neat work area.
2 Performs basic equipment function checks at the beginning of each shift
3 Maintains an average of no more than 2-3 errors and in the Computed Radiology System 2-3 errors=4.
4 Responsible for delegated areas in the assignment of routine procedures.
5 May assist in the development of examination routines and techniques.
6 Completes all exams in Meditech and Synapse P.A.C.S. software. Ensures that all documents are scanned, as necessary, and that all notes for the patient encounter are typed into the Synapse P.A.C.S. "Note Section".

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Microbiology Lab Tech will execute the daily laboratory operation and ensure that the Laboratory Quality Management System is implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 17025 standards. This position will handle data/report and resources (equipment, supplies) to ensure that required testing is completed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Maintain records and manages all aspects of testing activities
Prepare media and agar plates for testing and recording on media logs
Perform pour & petrifilm plating, count plates and record results
Report out of specification conditions and summarize test results
Perform sample preparation and testing of raw materials, finished products and others
Complete data/information recording, follow the status of testing, generating reports and communicating findings of those test results supporting the manufacture of quality products
Run membrane filtration (water testing method) and PCR method and record results
Maintain the safety, cleanliness and hygienic laboratory work environment including periodic/planned maintenance, cleaning and monitoring of equipment and the work areas
Follow lab safety protocols to maintain lab hygiene and eliminate cross contamination
Participate in proficiency program and test control samples
Assist or perform other duties/projects as assigned
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to operate microbiology instruments and equipment including equipment preventive maintenance, calibration, checks and verification
Ability to perform microbiological swabbing and air monitoring (e.g. environment program for the micro lab)
Ability to work alone and as part of a team to ensure the department goals, accuracy, and timeliness and cost effectiveness are met
Show competency through successful completion of proficiency testing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree is required or bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related areas. Equivalent experience in a related field can be substituted for education
Math skills combined with the ability to perform and understand scientific based tests and results
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms
Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, Word, etc.

We're looking for a Cardiac Catheterization Radiologist (Cath Lab Rad) for an immediate travel opening in Bakersfield, CA.
The right Cath Lab Rad must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.
Cath Lab Rads assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Scrubbing, monitoring and assisting providers as requested.
As a Cath Lab Rad, you will be responsible for:
Preparing the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock is available and in working condition, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
Preparing patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by preparing site of entry, draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
Operating and ensuring the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab. Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
Scrubbing in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
Obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
Monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
Participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Cath Lab Rads should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
Must have 1 year of experience. The Cath Lab Rad must have BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification, and state specific licensing when required.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Microbiology Lab Tech will execute the daily laboratory operation and ensure that the Laboratory Quality Management System is implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO 17025 standards. This position will handle data/report and resources (equipment, supplies) to ensure that required testing is completed.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Maintain records and manages all aspects of testing activities
* Prepare media and agar plates for testing and recording on media logs
* Perform pour & petrifilm plating, count plates and record results
* Report out of specification conditions and summarize test results
* Perform sample preparation and testing of raw materials, finished products and others
* Complete data/information recording, follow the status of testing, generating reports and communicating findings of those test results supporting the manufacture of quality products
* Run membrane filtration (water testing method) and PCR method and record results
* Maintain the safety, cleanliness and hygienic laboratory work environment including periodic/planned maintenance, cleaning and monitoring of equipment and the work areas
* Follow lab safety protocols to maintain lab hygiene and eliminate cross contamination
* Participate in proficiency program and test control samples
* Assist or perform other duties/projects as assigned
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to operate microbiology instruments and equipment including equipment preventive maintenance, calibration, checks and verification
* Ability to perform microbiological swabbing and air monitoring (e.g. environment program for the micro lab)
* Ability to work alone and as part of a team to ensure the department goals, accuracy, and timeliness and cost effectiveness are met
* Show competency through successful completion of proficiency testing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Associate degree is required or bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related areas. Equivalent experience in a related field can be substituted for education
* Math skills combined with the ability to perform and understand scientific based tests and results
* Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms
* Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office Excel, Word, etc.
* Communicate and interact well with others in the laboratory and manufacturing environment
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and apply Good Laboratory Practices
* Valid Driver's License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Some experience in Microbiology/Chemistry lab in the food-processing environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS:
* The work environment for this position will be typical of the manufacturing facility. There are portions of the job that will require working in cold (< 40°F) environments, in warm environments (>90°F), and loud environments.
* Must be able to work in a wet, cold, or hot environment
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
HOURS & WORKDAYS:
* 2nd shift Friday-Tuesday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm & 4:00pm - 12:30am when business requires overtime, weekends will be mandatory.

The Quality Control Technician - Level 1 is responsible for performing routine quality control inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, including USDA guidelines. This role plays a key part in maintaining food safety and product integrity by executing inspections, verifying processes, and documenting findings accurately and timely.
Daily Responsibilities:
Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are being followed on the production floor.
Verify that allergen control procedures are in place and that production lines are cleaned and sanitized appropriately.
Conduct in-process quality checks according to established schedules and procedures.
Review production inspection records for completeness and appropriate corrective action.
Verify the packaging, labeling, and marking of finished goods is accurate and complete.
Perform final inspections of finished products.
Collect and test product samples to validate quality standards for each lot.
Communicate issues related to rework and product transfers to management.
Prepare and log all customer and third-party samples as required.
Respond to inquiries regarding quality records and documentation.
Maintain and update quality databases and logs.
Report any suspicious behavior or plant security issues to the QA Director.
Take proactive measures to prevent nonconformities related to food safety, product quality, or process control.
Identify and report problems affecting food safety or product quality.
Stop or control further processing or distribution of nonconforming products until issues are resolved.
Immediately escalate food safety or quality concerns to line leads, supervisors, or management.
Support the Hold Program, including tracking, inventory reconciliation, and processing hold transfers.
Generate daily reports related to hold inventory and shipments.
Conduct physical inventories of product in hold locations.
Perform other tasks as assigned to support management and departmental goals.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Associate degree preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control role.
Proficient computer skills required; experience with quality databases preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with inspections.

Part Time Lab Technician
* 3 day work week, weekends required
* Hours: 6am-2:30pm
Main activities:
* Read plates and tubes, as required, to determine the number of organisms in the sample
* Record findings on worksheet for verification
* Write identification onto plates so that client and sample number can be tracked
* Pipette sample solution into tubes or plates according to the analysis process being performed
* Pour the agar into plates or tubes to begin the growth process
* Prepare sample for analysis by recording, weighing, and blending
* Collect plates and place them in the incubator for the specified amount of time and temperature
* Prepare media and broth for use in pathogen testing as required
* Sterilize materials needed for analysis. Autoclave plates before discarding
* Perform food poisoning, pH and other analysis tests on sample when requested by the client
* Ensure that media and materials are prepared for the next testing sequence
* Maintain knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that is required to complete job responsibilities
* Set up equipment and materials needed for analysis
* Support corporate quality and continuous improvement process
* Perform necessary housekeeping duties in a timely manner, keeping the work areas and equipment clean and sanitized

* No previous laboratory experience is required - we will provide full training- Temperature controlled work environment- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, food industry, food service, or retail.
Qualifications and professional background: 2 year science degree preferred. The incumbent must have a basic knowledge of lab science to accurately perform testing procedures and obtain accurate results. A basic knowledge of personal computers is useful to accurately enter testing data and results. A basic knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and policies is necessary to ensure a safe working environment. Planning skills are useful to maintain supplies of analysis materials and ensure analysis is completed within specified time.
Required skills: Analytical skills are essential to complete analysis procedures and determine the concentration of the microorganism. A general knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System is required to process client data. Physical dexterity is required for manipulating samples.
Work Environment: The incumbent works in a laboratory setting with proper lighting and temperature control. Occasional exposure to laboratory fumes, chemicals, and materials will occur when in the laboratory. Safety equipment of gloves, laboratory coat and eyeglasses may need to be worn depending on the testing process. The incumbent may use the autoclave daily to complete the analysis process. Continuous lifting of analysis materials weighing up to 50 pounds are necessary to transport media materials. The incumbent can expect extended time spent in a standing position. The incumbent should be able to detect slight variation in shades of colors.
Compensation:
$18.50 USD per hour
