This position's primary responsibility is under the direction of the Biomedical Sciences faculty member serving as Laboratory Manager. The Science Laboratory Assistant prepares teaching materials, maintains laboratory facilities, assists faculty, and provides support services to Biomedical Sciences, Chemistry, and Physics faculty and students in teaching and research. Required Qualifications Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks. Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people. Responsibilities Responsibilities * Assist the Soils Lab Manager with supervision of all activities related to the soils laboratory. Actively mentor and train lab staff. * Promote safety and safety culture and ensure proper PPE is used.
