• Scrubbing in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
• Obtaining and recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
• Participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Function and scope: ATTAIN (Advanced Technology Training and Information Networking) is a Statewide technology initiative funded by New York State to provide urban and rural communities access to state-of-the-art technology. Through innovative technologies, ATTAIN provides underserved and underprepared community residents the opportunity to access academic, vocational, life skills and workplace readiness training, in coordination within an Educational Opportunity Center or a local community-based host institution. Each ATTAIN lab is a certified Microsoft IT Academy.
Position Description: Lab Technology Coordinators (LTCs) provide on-site learning and technical support and oversight for their assigned ATTAIN lab. In coordination with their UCAWD ATTAIN Statewide Coordinator, LTCs work to achieve the outcomes specified in their Implementation Plan.
The Attain Laboratory Coordinator reports to the Associate Coordinator of Instructional Services or his/her designee and performs the following duties:
* Become proficient in the use of the ISI courseware, Microsoft curricula and any third-party software.
* Obtain and keep current Microsoft certifications related to instructional curriculum delivered at the lab.
* Demonstrate progress toward becoming a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT).
* Deliver Microsoft certification instruction to the served populations.
* Create, monitor and update a monthly schedule for lab operations and classes, in coordination with the host institution.
* Prepare the lab's Implementation Plan together with the ATTAIN Statewide Coordinator and effectively execute objectives set forth within it.
* Submit monthly status reports to ATTAIN Statewide Coordinators and host institutions, which will include among other items student enrollment, usage, and outcomes.
* Create and implement a Community Outreach and Partnership Development plan which must include marketing strategies and presentations to promote the ATTAIN lab in local communities.
* Work with local Departments of Social Services (DSS) and Labor (DOL) to identify potential program participants, especially TANF and TANF 200% recipients.
* Determine participant TANF eligibility during Intake process.
* Provide initial orientation for all new participants and train lab participants on software and courseware resources.
* Develop curricular pathways for individual participants based on available lab resources.
* Provide participant intervention and technical assistance at the learning stations, as needed.
* Manage and maintain ATTAIN enrollment and reporting databases.
* Report, log and record hardware and/or technical problems and their resolutions.
* Communicate any unresolved issues with hardware and software to supervisors and ATTAIN Statewide Coordinators.
* Use ATTAIN's management systems to monitor participant progress.
* Participate in meetings, workshops and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.
* Document and report participant success stories and outcomes to UCAWD and the host institution, when applicable.
* Proctor certification exams, as needed.
* Become familiar with, support, and uphold EOC's policies and procedures.
* Provide supervision for volunteers as needed.

CTG UAlbany's research portfolio focuses on the adoption and use of information and technology by public organizations from a multi-disciplinary perspective and using a multimethod approach. The successful candidate will lead and participate in research projects, which will entail identifying research opportunities mainly with U.S. federal agencies, writing research proposals, and conducting the research, when funded. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the Center's staff and faculty fellows as well as with CTG UAlbany's unique network of international researchers on advancing the field of Digital Government and, among other, will generate a stream of refereed publications across diverse disciplines, attend conferences, and participate in research-related events. Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Technician supports the Quality Assurance Department by ensuring all products meet company, customer, regulatory, and food safety requirements. This role performs quality checks on production lines and in the laboratory, maintains quality documentation, supports audits, and assists with laboratory systems, equipment, and administrative functions. The technician works independently and collaboratively to uphold GMPs, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Quality & Laboratory Operations
Perform all pre-start, in-process, and finished goods quality checks to ensure product specifications are met.
Conduct laboratory and line tests including, but not limited to: Brix, CO2, total acidity, seam checks, enamel tests, water checks, calibrations, and other required analyses.
Monitor product quality parameters continuously and stop production when specifications are not met.
Adjust quality parameters when appropriate to bring products back into specification.
Place product on hold, conduct verification testing, perform root cause analysis, and document corrective actions.
Verify and approve batches; communicate necessary adjustments to the Bulk Department.
Support daily lab functions including equipment calibration, sanitation inspections, wastewater monitoring, and recordkeeping.
Use sensory evaluation (sight, taste, smell) to assess product color, clarity, flavor, and detect off-tastes.
Verify label artwork, graphics, color shades, and tint accuracy.
Production Line Support
Ensure production lines and laboratory are ready for daily startup.
Operate and troubleshoot can, bottle, and case coding equipment.
Follow all company policies, GMPs, SOPs, and customer quality requirements to prevent product defects.
Communicate quality issues and coordinate activities with the QA Lead and production teams.
Quality Systems, Documentation & Compliance
Generate, revise, review, and maintain quality documentation including SOPs, protocols, reports, change controls, action plans, and procedures.
Support document control programs and ensure accurate, timely filing of QA logs and records.
Assist in maintaining plant audit-ready status for corporate, government, and third-party audits.
Participate in food safety and quality audits, chemical training, and quality improvement initiatives.
