Job DescriptionDescription: The General Laborer in the Mold Repair Department supports daily operations by assisting with the cleaning, handling, movement, and basic preparation of tire molds and related components. This role ensures a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while supporting technicians, machinists, and repair personnel. The hours are from 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM - Mon - Fri. Key Responsibilities • Assist in cleaning, degreasing, and preparing molds and mold components for repair or inspection. • Support mold technicians by moving materials, parts, and equipment throughout the facility using pallet jacks, hoists, or other approved tools. • Perform basic disassembly and reassembly tasks under supervision. • Maintain shop cleanliness, including sweeping, trash removal, organizing tools, and keeping work areas clear of debris. • Assist with sandblasting, pressure washing, or basic surface prep as directed. • Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use, lockout/tagout awareness, and machine safety rules. • Report any damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or maintenance needs to supervisors immediately. • Support inventory tasks such as stocking supplies, counting parts, and labeling materials. • Help load and unload molds or components from trucks or staging areas. • Complete assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner to support production schedules. This position will handle carpentry and laborer duties on a job site. CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE ON GOVERNMENT PROJECTS REQUIRED. Our construction jobs are usually located on government military bases; therefore, in order to perform your duties, you must be granted access to the jobsite location on the government bases.
