Responsibilities
Support all HR projects as needed, with a specific focus on recruiting and onboarding efforts
Responsible for handling semi-monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now for employees and Deel for contractors
Developing HR Dashboard including semi-monthly reports in Excel and monthly decks in PowerPoint for presentation to management (payroll, overtime, turnover, etc.)
Responding to employee inquiries and escalating, where appropriate
Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
Coordinate interview scheduling and communication with candidates and hiring teams
Maintain candidate data and recruitment workflows
Ensure compliance with onboarding policies and employment regulations
Contribute to compliance efforts
Find opportunities to improve the applicant experience through automation, process improvements and exceptional communication
Actively support and/or facilitate special projects, including conducting research and creating presentation materials
Handle various administrative duties including event planning, charitable endeavors, travel, procurement, and other ad hoc requests.
Such additional projects may relate to benefits, employee information management, creating reports, payroll management, engagement events, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Position Summary:
The Sales Operations & Marketing Coordinator supports new business growth and helps strengthen the Laufer brand. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to learn systems unique to Laufer Group International and the logistics industry.
The Coordinator works closely with Sales Leadership, the Sales Operations team, and our outsourced Marketing Agency to execute strategies that elevate the Laufer brand internally and externally. Responsibilities include but not limited to, working across key marketing channels such as social media, web analytics, email marketing, CRM, trade show coordination, and industry specific lead generation tools.

Role Responsibilities:
Support sales operations and assist in driving new business opportunities across the Laufer brand, including participating in the lead generation process through data entry, vetting prospects, and coordinating outreach emails to potential clients.
Learn and utilize proprietary systems specific to Laufer Group International and the logistics industry, including uploading, updating, and maintaining data within the CRM system.
Partner with the Marketing Team, Sales Operations Team, and Sales leadership, to execute integrated marketing strategies that reinforce the Laufer brand internally and externally.
Contribute to a wide range of marketing campaigns and initiatives using tools and techniques such as social media and digital content, web and performance analytics, email marketing platforms, CRM system support, trade show planning and onsite participation, and industry specific lead generation tools.
Work alongside the marketing team on all campaigns, attend and prepare for Marketing Meetings as needed, and assist in creating dashboards and reporting for senior management.
Collaborate closely with the sales team, attend and prepare sales meetings, and support sales enablement by reviewing documents, videos, and materials for sales training. As needed.
Stay informed by reviewing industry news and Laufer newsletters daily to support timely and relevant marketing and sales initiatives.
Assist with trade show preparation, coordination, logistics, and attendance as needed.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and cross functional communication to ensure alignment and effective execution across teams.
Participate in ongoing training to support continuous learning and skill development.
Role Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and oversee the execution of projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly; prior CRM experience is preferred.

Position Summary:
This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the import process for specific accounts. Key responsibilities include organizing and tracking shipments, overseeing costs and transport arrangements, and ensuring all documentation is processed for prompt customs clearance and on-time delivery. The position also requires ongoing communication with overseas agents, and partners, as well as contributing to the efficient operation of the department. Operational Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely, professional, and solutions-focused support.
Maintain a customer-first mindset, going above and beyond to exceed expectations.
Foster and sustain positive relationships with customers by engaging in clear, respectful, and proactive communication.
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of air import shipment.
Receive and update shipment statuses in a timely manner; issue shipment alerts.
Track and Trace air import shipments.
Prepare A/N's, deliver orders, and other import related documentation.
Effective communication with internal/external customs brokers.
Review commercial documents.
Provide pricing and routing guidance to clients, agents, salespeople as necessary.
Ensure operational file accounting accuracy and maximum profitability for the organization.
Coordinate with our contracted vendors in procuring space and services.
Resolve issues quickly and effectively with internal and external partners.
Document client feedback, complaints, and suggestions to support continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Qualifications
3-5 years minimum prior air import experience preferred.
Preferred knowledge or experience includes air and road freight operations, aviation security or related training, such as aviation security, customs procedures and documentation, flight scheduling, freight tariffs and pricing, as well as the ability to prepare and finalize documentation.
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and effectively communicate clearly and concisely.
Pro-active, persistent and goal-driven, highly organized, personable and approachable, attentive to detail, reliable in seeing tasks through to completion, confident and engaging with commercial awareness.
Proven analytical skills.
Good computer skills (Excel, Word).
Willingness to undertake any other duty deemed reasonable by your manager.
IATA dangerous goods certification a plus but not required.
