To Be Successful In This Role, You Need To Be: At least one year of experience as a Family Law legal assistant Highly organized Be tech savvy Have strong customer services skills What We Are Looking For: A detailed and process-focused professional with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a strong knowledge of family case law. The Paralegal possesses exceptional task management expertise, customer service skills, and adaptability with various tech platforms. With a transparent, self-sufficient, and team-oriented mindset, they consistently maintain a positive attitude and actively seek opportunities for improvement. As a problem solver, they work within the general office guidelines to find the best routes for achieving success in their role. Top Responsibilities: Communicating with clients, opposing counsel and court staff in a courteous and professional manner Managing busy and dynamic attorney calendars including confirming and coordinating court appearances, meetings etc. Making copies, scanning, filing Assisting with court filings and assembling motions Compiling discovery for attorney review Running Child Support Guidelines Assisting in the preparation of Case Information Statements Reminding attorneys of deadlines for filings, appearances, meetings etc. Ensure client files are up to date and organized and carrying client's files and boxes.
