Essential Functions:

Qualifications and Education Requirements
The Guidance Counselor will be thoroughly committed to the PSOE mission. All candidates should have proven leadership and relationship management experience. Concrete demonstrable experience and other qualifications include:
Masters degree (preferred) in field of social services, including certification in middle school counseling.

Position Summary
The License Eligible Therapist - Addictions will utilize a strengths based recovery-focused approach to facilitate addiction and dual diagnosis groups and individual/family therapy services to individuals with substance use disorders in an outpatient setting. This position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with behavioral health professionals and primary care providers to provide integrated healthcare to the individuals we serve in order to achieve their identified goals.
Education/Experience
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other mental health related field accredited by the US Department of Education required
Minimum two (2) years experience in related field required
Community Mental Health experience highly preferred
Must have excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills; knowledge of substance use disorders treatment
Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred
Licensure
Must have a temporary license to practice or;
Be recognized as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) by the State of Indiana
Recognized as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor (LCAC) preferred
