OVERVIEW
The SocialWorker will be supporting the Home Study (HS) and Post Release Services (PRS) department. This position is remote, located in New York/New Jersey and requires up to 50% travel.
Starting pay is $72,134.40 and may be subject to change on experience, education, and cost of living.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate clinical case management services to UC with significant needs.
Carry a caseload of 5 to 10 EPRS cases.
Conduct brief clinical interventions to help families address crises and manage conflict, as needed.
Complete individualized needs assessments with unaccompanied children (UC) and sponsors, and develop case plans with particular attention to culture, language, and special circumstances.
Maintain a high standard of record-keeping according to USCRI and ORR policies and procedures.
Provide information, education, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support to ensure that each child receives the services they require.
Assess the safety and appropriateness of the placement on an ongoing basis using child welfare principles and social work best practices through phone/video calls, interviews, and home visits.
Build a network of local pro bono legal resources and service providers to facilitate access for unaccompanied children (UC) and sponsors, and track individual progress.
Coordinate and maintain communication with key stakeholders.
Participate in regular training and communication sessions with supervisor and headquarters staff.

current and proposed processes and reports; conducting HCBS eligibility assessment
determinations for Waiver applicants and enroll eligible participants; corresponding with
providers, participants and other stakeholders; and reviewing, updating provider guidance
materials.
The candidate must have strong interpersonal, problem solving, decision-making and time
management skills and the preferred candidate possesses knowledge of pediatric diagnoses
and diseases that impact children's development and activities of daily living and has
