Coordinate RtI meetings with the School Psychologist and write K-3 meetings on the calendar.
Crisis Intervention Tasks:
Edit and update Crisis Plan, Fan Outs and all summary tables.
Provide direction to team after a crisis occurs.
Keep updated on Crisis Plan information and intervention.
Carry out mini-crisis and crisis intervention with students as needed.
Mini-crises include dealing with conflict between students, bullying, crying, refusing to work and so forth.
Crises include aggressive incidents with students, suicide, bomb threats, threats of harm to others and so forth.
Complete all relevant Crisis Intervention Forms and provide a copy to all Crisis Team Members involved with that particular crisis.
Other Tasks:
Caseload management in the form of making phone calls or writing letters to outside agencies and medical centers to obtain information or services for both RtI K-3 and special education students.

Take care of holiday package information at the start of the school year.

Coordinate care with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
Advocate for families' needs by connecting them with community resources, supporting scheduling of evaluations or medication reviews, and developing support networks.
Monitor and eliminate barriers to service access and participation by collaborating with service providers and community organizations.
Maintain flexibility in work hours and participate in an on-call rotation to provide crisis intervention and support as needed, including evenings and weekends.
Document clinical progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with agency policies.
Attend supervision meetings, team consultations, and professional development trainings.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support client needs and organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work (LMSW required).
Valid State of Michigan LMSW license.
Prior experience in outpatient pediatrics, family therapy, or similar settings preferred.
Knowledge of TFCO or similar therapeutic models is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and case management skills.
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including non-traditional schedules, to meet client needs.
Ability to respond effectively to crisis situations; availability for on-call rotations is essential.
