Responsibilities Include:

The Financial Aid Loan Specialist is responsible for administering the Federal Direct Student Loan Programs, PLUS Loans, and Private/Alternative loans. * Manage Exit Counseling process in the SIS System for students who have ceased enrollment or dropped below half-time of their loan repayment obligations.
* Review loan adjustment reports regularly to identify requests for processing or follow-up with students for additional information.
* Resolve loan disbursement failures to ensure timely and accurate crediting of funds to student accounts.
* Send enrollment verification instructions to confirm half-time attendance for students whose lenders require confirmation prior to loan disbursement.
* Review PLUS Loan applications to resolve discrepancies and collect missing documentation.
* Conduct outreach to students who have not accepted or declined loan offers or who have outstanding action items in the SIS system.
Minimum Qualifications
* Associate degree or high school diploma with 1-3 years of related work experience.
* Experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred.

The Loan Boarding Coordinator is responsible for adding originated and acquired loan products to the loan servicing system, both manually and via electronic upload.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs Post-Closing process, interpret loan documents and boards all originated loan products and acquired loans;

Ensures all loan document packages are complete and follows up with lending positions or third party originators on exceptions;
·
Runs system edit reports and pass new loans into production on the McCracken system;
·
Performs after-pass functions such as adding/changing applicable codes and boards non-critical loan information (Phase 2) to the McCracken system;
·
Prepares e-forms to process escrow and reserve funds on newly boarded and acquired loans;
·
Communicates with Client Relations (Agency/CMBS/Private Label) to understand new products and ensure proper coding when boarding to the McCracken system and communicates with Loan Administration (Tax/Insurance/Reserves) to notify them of time-sensitive/critical issues;
·
Keeps abreast of new products and ensures proper coding when analyzing loans for upload to the McCracken system;
·
Supports incoming acquired loan servicing including coordination with the prior servicer, preparation of Mapping Tool spreadsheets for bulk boarding of acquired loan portfolios, uploading the Mapping Tool spreadsheet to pass loans to production, and the reconciliation of and application of funds to the acquired loans;
·
Performs all tasks in support of outgoing transfers of servicing, including coordination with the successor servicer, the timely delivery of data files and electronic documents, wire transfer of funds, and bulk coding of transferred loans on the system;
·
Reviews loan modification documents to identify system changes required by the modification; tracks modifications in the MTS system, and submits forms to adjust the loan consistent with the modified terms. Files correspondence and other records in preparation for imaging;
·
Completes Welcome Letters, review and print out emails with Interest Only calculations to prepare ARM Welcome Letters;
·
Monitors and maintains New Loan Boarding and Acquisitions/Conversions shared mailboxes;
·
Provides support to staff with the ET transfer process for loading loans electronically;
·
Assists with duties as relates to processing and returning corrected specially serviced CMBS, Agency and third party loan modifications;
·
Interacts with attorneys, borrower, loan officer, investor and servicing confirm ordering of third party reports.
Qualifications
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Two years previous experience in a similar position, preferred;
·
Real Estate experience preferred (Commercial Real Estate experience a plus);
·
Experience in and understand of how loans are set up, the supporting workflow, etc.;
·
Experience reading, reviewing, and comprehending legal documentation, preferably related to commercial loans;
·
Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - and McCracken experience preferred.

The Financial Aid Loan Specialist is responsible for administering the Federal Direct Student Loan Programs, PLUS Loans, and Private/Alternative loans. This role also handles enrollment verification forms, student loan deferments, and provides high-volume assistance to students and parents. The position requires strong analytical skills to resolve application issues, as well as a thorough understanding of federal regulations and tax filing guidelines. Additional responsibilities include performing file verification and processing an assigned portion of student files (R-T). The role involves daily customer service through phone, email, and front-counter interactions with students, parents, and the general public.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform verification of student financial aid files (R-T letters), including reviewing FAFSA data, tax return documentation, and verification worksheet information. Identify and resolve discrepancies and request additional information when necessary.
Provide customer service by answering phone inquiries and responding to student and parent questions via email.
Review of reports with SIS system such as Default/C-Code list, overpayment report, disbursement failures, etc. to resolve issues or flag for further review by supervisor.
Alternative/private loan processing by reviewing reports to ELM and SIS System, flagging pending disbursement issues, confirming enrollment and cost of attendance, and requesting refunds from accounting when required to ensure funds are returned to proper accounts.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Receive and process school loan deferment requests, submitting information to the National Student Loan Clearinghouse on a bi-weekly basis and resolving any related student issues.
Manage Exit Counseling process in the SIS System for students who have ceased enrollment or dropped below half-time of their loan repayment obligations.
Review loan adjustment reports regularly to identify requests for processing or follow-up with students for additional information.
Resolve loan disbursement failures to ensure timely and accurate crediting of funds to student accounts.
Send enrollment verification instructions to confirm half-time attendance for students whose lenders require confirmation prior to loan disbursement.
Review PLUS Loan applications to resolve discrepancies and collect missing documentation.
Conduct outreach to students who have not accepted or declined loan offers or who have outstanding action items in the SIS system.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree or high school diploma with 1-3 years of related work experience.
Experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred.
Knowledge of Workday is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or other software programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential matters in a highly professional manner.
Detail orientated and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Hourly Range: $22.3787 - $23.9452 (commensurate with experience).

Primary Function
The Processor works in conjunction with Sales to ensure all loans in assigned pipelines are facilitated through the loan manufacturing process. Additionally, this role will maintain daily workflow prioritization & perform the proper due diligence to ensure every loan has been processed in quality, timely and efficient manner. The Processor establishes communication with all 3rd parties tied to the transaction, including, but not excluded to the appropriate Title Company and Appraisal Management Company. The Processor also works closely with our internal departments:Underwriting, Secondary, Closing and Post-Closing.

Principal Duties
Establishes proper communication with Borrower (where necessary).
Actively communicates with all 3rd Parties.
Completes the proper due diligence on any/all loan conditions received from Sales.
Processes all loans according to established NPF Service Level Agreements
Performs necessary pipeline tasks required to clear all assigned Processing Conditions.
Processes all files pursuant to the NPF pre-closing checklist.
Properly maintains satisfactory monthly quality scores.
Coordinates all closing requests received from Sales.
Audits files for compliance throughout the loan process: RESPA/GFE, all applicable State/Federal tests, TILA & other required state specific disclosures.
Prepares loan file for final review by Processing Manager
Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Bachelor's degree, preferred.
2 - 4 years' mortgage industry processing experience.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must work well in a team environment.
Proficient with MS Office
