Performance Measurements:

The Specialist is responsible for ensuing recently closed loans are accurately set up in the servicing system of record, MSP, handling data entry, data validation against loan closing documentation, and resolving discrepancies with other teams and partner Credit Unions, when necessary. Helping ensure department standards for loan boarding, within three business days of receipt, are consistently achieved.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and PERCENT OF TIME SPENT:
Review and validate data mapping from multiple loan origination applications match final loan documents and are properly recorded in the system of record, ICE MSP.
Collaborate internally or with partner credit unions to quickly resolve data discrepancies, when identified.
Timely generation and issuance of new loan welcome packages and updating of loan records within the servicing system.
Reviewing and processing closing documents retained for future Servicing activities
Immediate updating of system and investor records when loans are sold into the Secondary Market.
Working closely with Loan Accounting to ensure on-going reconciliation of loans in process and loans held for sale accounts.
Collaborate closely with partner Credit Unions to provide status updates and requested reporting.
Continuously seeking process improvement, including streamlining and automating of manual processes
Other duties or projects upon request and cross training within department
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Prior MSP, Encompass, and/or Empower experience, a plus.
Problem Solving - working with Originations or Closing teams to fix data errors or the identification of missing loan information.
Initiative-taker with ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Effective communication skills
EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years of Mortgage Servicing or Processing experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word).

is responsible for closing loans and disbursing loan funds.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews approved mortgage loan approvals to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing have been satisfied and reviewed by underwriting.
Ensures that all loans meet guidelines for quality and regulatory compliance and investor closing standards are met.

Reviews and verifies executed closing packages to ensure all documents are signed appropriately and all fees are included with the package.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university preferred. Will consider a combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 2 years closer/funder or related experience.
