As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you will be responsible for filing, releasing, and maintaining loan collateral, processing homeowners' insurance, and managing loan filing fees. You will research and resolve issues related to loan collateral management for boarding and funding Commercial, Agricultural, Consumer, and Mortgage loans in Fiserv, ensuring compliance with approved terms and conditions. In this position, you will board and fund loans, assist with loan payments, advances, reversals, and funding disbursements. You will provide solutions to straightforward issues related to loan servicing and perform daily duties aligned with individual and department goals.

What will you do:
Accountabilities
Collateral Management
Track all collateral held within the bank's portfolio to ensure the bank obtains and maintains adequate lien position.
Follow established procedures to file UCC, title, and mortgage documents with the secretary of State and/or Register of Deeds via mail or online system (AccuAccount, Fiserv Premier and DDI).
Follow established procedures to release of loan Collateral such as UCC, title and mortgage using external system (DDI, AccuAccount, and Fiserv Premier software).
Arrange, administer, and maintain critical documents in vault.
Board and Fund Loans
Process, board, and fund loans in a timely and accurate manner.
Onboard all consumer loans from origination system (LaserPro) to the core platform (Fiserv Premier) using the connector (ICC).
Effectivly process loan payments, advances, and wires and additional monetary transactions.
Service Loans & Escrow Management
Perform daily maintenance into the core system, Fiserv Premier, research and resolve inquiries and issues relevant to loans.
Address daily and weekly reports. Apply prompt and accurate adjustments to loans. Assist with processing payments, payoffs, paydowns, as well as advances, maintenance transactions and non-posted transactions.
Process all payoffs demands, and paid note documentation.
Answer all inbound basic to complex loan servicing calls routed to Loan servicing or escalade calls to the appropriate teammate for resolution.
Perform balancing task for loan general ledgers.
Process homeowners' insurance payments via QuickBooks.
Partner with Others
Partner with others to ensure team goals are met.
Participate in cross-functional training to support all areas within the Loan Servicing team.
Champion change management initiatives and serve as a role model for change in the organization.
Qualifications
Secondary education in business or related field preferred. One or more years of relevant work experience or a combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position. Experience in banking preferred.

Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid option to allow for occasional remote work, primarily working out of the Mankato or Rochester, MN office locations.
The contributions you will make:
Facilitates the client journey through the processing of new PCA loans, including all aspects of product delivery before, during and after closing. Serves as a client point of contact, establishing strong relationships through exceptional levels of service. Maintains a high degree of accountability throughout the loan life cycle, including aggregating and organizing all loan documentation, retaining accurate and complete electronic files, completing loan due diligence tasks, preparing loans for booking and completing post-close activities.
A typical day:
Loan Processing and Client Service
Serves as a client point of contact, establishing strong relationships through exceptional and consistent service. Proactively identifies client needs and resolves a variety of requests via phone, online and in-person to ensure a positive and consistent experience.
Collaborates with the Sales Team across all Compeer locations to obtain pre-qualification information, including gathering prospect or client information (e.g. drivers' licenses, financials, information pertaining to scope of operations, and entity documentation) necessary to qualify a loan opportunity. Works proactively with Sales across regions in order to meet tight deadlines.
Prepares accurate operating and term loan documents for new loans, from the point of loan application through loan finalizing to include monitoring of closing conditions, ensuring accuracy.
Serves as the Deal Champion on all submitted loans by having a broad working knowledge of Association processes and policy.
Assists in following Territorial Concurrence procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Ensures accuracy of loan pricing and fees and document any exception approvals; prepares rate lock agreement and monitor closing deadlines.
Completes loan verification requirements related to loan documents, reviews entity and trust documentation and ensures compliance with applicable regulations. Partners with respective parties to ensure loan conditions are satisfied.

Post-Closing Activities
Approves money movement and books loans.
Uses thorough understanding of chattel collateral, following up on UCC terminations or other lien releases, obtaining vehicle titles, and ensuring first lien position.

Maintains accuracy of the chattel tracking system and coordinate with teammates to enhance the client experience.

We are currently seeking a Mortgage Closer. The Mortgage Closing Processors are responsible for providing excellent customer service to both our internal and external clients. Duties include, but are not limited to, efficient pipeline management, issuance of closing disclosures to Borrowers in accordance with TRID Regulatory and ONB guidelines, working closely with title companies to balance closing disclosures, delivery of the final closing documents and funding via wire transfers. Mortgage Closing Processors must be able to work in a fast-spaced environment and be able to pivot as needed to address closing problems or last-minute changes timely and professionally.
Key Accountabilities
Provide Exceptional Customer Service:
* Contact internal customers or other 3rd parties as needed to resolve closing issues or discrepancies with clear and concise communication.
* Respond promptly and professionally to all internal and external customers
Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
* Review all documentation in the file for accuracy. Request updated documentation as needed.
* Accurate preparation of the initial and final closing disclosure to include balancing the closing disclosure with the title company.

Collateral Management
Track all collateral held within the bank s portfolio to ensure the bank obtains and maintains adequate lien position.

Qualifications
