Duties and responsibilities
Provide exceptional service to all customers.
Process credit loan applications and use product knowledge to present loan solutions to current and potential customers.
Maintain office cash with accuracy and proper security.
Grow account volume through good judgment and effective customer solicitations in the branch and by telephone.
Minimize delinquent debt through calling customers and collecting on past-due accounts.
Receive, track, and post all payments and fees to customer accounts in compliance with Company Policy.
Transport money and deposits to and from bank.
Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Prior customer service experience in either a sales/retail environment or cash management environment.
Must pass drug screen, criminal and credit background checks.
Valid Driver's License and access to a dependable automobile with liability insurance coverage.

Working conditions

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the Consumer Loan Processor to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. Functions include managing a pipeline of loan applications, collection and review of consumer loan related documents and driving the loan process from application through closing. Maintains compliance with SouthState Bank Corporate Code of Conduct and Ethics, regulatory requirements, Loan Policy, and Internal Procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Receives incoming consumer loan closing and title requests in the Bank's consumer loan origination system, including, but not limited to the following loan types:

Reviews loan approval, supporting documentation, and Bank systems to determine that the appropriate due diligence is completed prior to sending loan request to consumer loan closing. The review process would include, but not limited to the following: loan approval documents, determination of HMDA eligibility for transactions, flood determinations, title work, insurance documents (including communicating the with insurance company), Settlement Statements/HUD/Closing Statements, funding documentation, initial disclosures, titling information, purchase contracts, entity documentation, appraisals.
Requests documentation from Customer and/or Lender as applicable to the loan submission.
Order third party services including, but not limited to, tax transcripts, title work, flood determination, survey, payoffs, vin verification, and insurance declarations information.
Obtain all required conditions as established by underwriting.
Keep Customer and Lender updated on document requests and loan status using verbal and written (electronic) communication practices.
Coordinates closing date with Lender, Customer and/or Closing Agent
Manage pipeline of consumer real estate applications to meet department Service Level Agreements while meeting critical loan dates to provide an exceptional level of service to Customers and Lenders.
Ensure the consumer loan origination system data is entered accurately and timely.
Submit a complete and accurate loan file to Consumer loan closing.
Other duties as assigned by management.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the Commercial Loan Closer to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. It is the responsibility of the Commercial Loan Closer to ensure Commercial loan document requests are processed timely and accurately, following internal procedures. Working closely with Relationship Managers, Loan Assistants, Credit Administration, and Settlement Agents, the Commercial Loan Closer ensures necessary due diligence is completed on commercial loan closing requests and prepares commercial loan closing documents using the Bank's LaserPro documentation system. The Commercial Loan Closer ensures loan closing documents are prepared in accordance with the loan approval as well as federal and state legal and compliance requirements and delivers the closing documents to the Settlement Agent or branch in accordance with established department Service Level Agreements.
This position will be remote in MOUNTAIN TIME ZONE.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Processes Commercial Real Estate and Commercial and Industrial loan closing requests including, but not limited to, term loans, lines of credit, letters of credit, and renewals and modifications.
Reviews credit approval, supporting documentation, and Bank systems to determine that the appropriate due diligence has been completed prior preparing loan closing documents. Scope of review includes, but is not limited to, lending authority, flood determinations, entity organizational documents, title work, environmental documentation, insurance documents, collateral documents, commitment letters, settlement statements, and compliance considerations such as HMDA, CRA, and Reg B.
Prepares closing documents on document preparation system, LaserPro, and delivers closing documents and accompanying closing instructions to Settlement Agent or branch. Reviews and approves settlement statements prepared by Settlement Agents.
Works closely with Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants to identify and resolve documentation deficiencies or issues. Escalates issues to Loan Closing Management as necessary.
Ensures department Service Level Agreements for loan closing requests are met in order to provide an exceptional level of service to customers.
Manages workload by monitoring newly received loan requests in the Loan Closing workflow as well as tracking work in process.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: One to three years of experience in commercial loan documentation is required, in a lending/lending support or legal capacity (e.g. paralegal).
Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of nCino and LaserPro preferred.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation; On the job training and any additional training as identified my management.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk. This position may require bending and reaching.
This position will be remote in MOUNTAIN TIME ZONE.

As a Loan Officer at AgCarolina Farm Credit, you'll play a key role in originating and servicing loans, marketing financial services, and developing strong relationships with borrowers in both the commercial and consumer markets. As a Loan Officer in the Elizabethtown branch, you will serve both consumer and commercial borrowers primarily in Bladen, Robeson, Cumberland, and parts of Columbus counties. What You'll Do:
Actively participate and seek lending relationships with existing and new customers
Market and sell Association financial services including leasing, crop and life insurance, Farm Credit Express, and preferred stock

Interview applicants and analyze credit and financial data using the five credit factors and differential analysis
Use delegated authority to approve loan structures, pricing, and conditions
