Position Summary
The Forklift Operator supports warehouse and shipping operations by safely receiving, storing, and shipping materials used in modular home construction. Working independently or as part of a team, this role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains organized workspaces, and supports productivity goals while adhering to all safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality; sort and stage materials for proper storage
Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to load, unload, stack, rotate, and move materials
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is complete
Meet established productivity standards and operational timelines
Maintain inventory of materials, tools, and supplies
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain positive working relationships to promote teamwork and a cooperative environment
Perform clerical or related duties as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
One (1) to two (2) years of warehouse or material handling experience
Ability to read and understand shipping and receiving documentation
Ability to operate barcode readers, computer terminals, and material identification equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Overview
The Zamboni Operator will perform general labor duties as assigned. Duties included but not limited to building conversions for various events, familiarity with all aspects of facility operations and maintenance in addition to ice making, ice maintenance and repair.
This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$19.00

Responsibilities
Must be a trained operator for Zamboni Ice Resurfacing machines.
Solid understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.
Must be comfortable working in very cold or very hot conditions for long periods of time.
Must be able to stand, bend and stoop for long periods of time.
Must be able to climb stairs/ladder.
Ability to adhere to building policies and event requirements.
Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions as well as communicate effectively with other in both oral and written form.
Must be able to work long irregular hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
Responsible for occasional maintenance and repair of rink equipment to include, but not limited to: Zamboni, dasher system, subfloor, tempered glass, acrylic glass, safety netting, Jet Ice systems, edgers, goal nets, etc.
Work with the facilities department to provide optimal ice conditions for all ice events.
Oversee aspects of ice installation and removal.
Assist operations department to expedite event conversions.
Other duties as assigned.
